I love this camera.its waterproof and perfect for vacations.its small and I've had it in the ocean .it takes pictures underwater and clear sharp video when I went parasailing.The pictures are very clear in any light condition and make it look like I know what I am doing.Its better than most in very low light .recomeend highly.

Fun to use during vacation in Cancun, Mexico. Didn't have to worry about dropping, wetting, or getting it dirty. Records great video and takes great pictures. Easy to use and can change settings easily. Dropped the camera in the river about 20' deep and was worried about losing it. Bright orange color made it easy to locate and when i dove in to recover it i found it recording the whole incident which was cool.

love the slide cover camera design. the touchscreen has a bit of a lag when scrolling through pictures but its not bad. the one bad thing is that you have to open the cover to connect the cable to charge the battery. this would not usually be a problem, except that on our first time trying to charge the camera, we opened the battery cover and the battery would not stay in place. we brought it back to best buy and the employee told us that there is a spring that holds the battery in place and it broke. that part is very flimsy and without that part holding the battery in place it won't charge.

The colors on photos I took underwater in my swimming pool were very bright and clear. I hope it works as well for snorkeling in the open water. It has more functions and settings than I expected from a camera at this price point. My only complaints are that I keep putting my finger over the lens accidentally. Also, it is difficult to see the display in bright sunshine and it is slippery so buy a floating strap for use in the water. For the price, I think it is a great value.

Great underwater camera. Takes clear underwater videos. Very petite camera, great zoom

Easy to use when in the water. Battery life when doing video last for about 5 hours but if you just do still photos it can go for 16 hours. The image quality is great just the panorama photo feature can be touch if you don't move at the right speed. Overall great camera for under water and out of the water.

small very portable, excellent quality. Poor battery life, but it lasts longer than nikon and canon waterproof. had both canon and nikon cameras, but I preferred the sony

The camera takes great pictures and has a really easy to use touch screen. The screen reacts fast and efficiently.

Bought this camera before a trip to Hawaii and it didn't let me down. Took amazing pictures in and out of the water. Not sure how well pictures would come out in murky water, but in the clear waters of Hawaii the pics were amazing.

Great camera all features are excellent Sony should of added wifi capability but it's still a great camera. Price at Sony store cheaper than Beat buy and could not get price match. This is an overall camera that takes great pictures and very easy to use.

A friend of mine had the TX20 in the Bahamas and she took pics during bright sunny days, rainy nights, underwater, and above water. The clarity made me know that I had to have it! I purchased the newer model TX30, with many of the same features. I took it to our local Renaissance Festival, and WOW! When I got home and viewed on my computer, I was happily amazed. Our of 50 pictures, only one was blurry. And I didn't find any that needed to be photoshopped or adjusted. (I own a Canon SLR Rebel xsi, and have spent hours, when I got home from same Festival, trying to adjust and fix the pictures so I could post on FaceBook or email to friends). This camera TX30 is definitely perfect for taking great pictures, when you don't want to haul the big cameras around. And also knowing it can get wet, or dusty, is awesome.

We bought this camera for my Mother in law and this is her first Digital Camera, she really loves it and enjoys taking picture in it. Its very easy to use and she learnt a lot without / with little help from us. She loves it from day 1 she got it.

This is a tough camera without looking tough, it's small and sleek. Took it on vacation used on the beach & pool, got it wet. I used it underwater and the pictures came out great; it has a lot of features that I haven't used yet. The zoom is great for such a small camera. I'm very happy with my little camera. I also purchased it again for my mother.

This is a small and easy to use camera with great features. It takes excellent pictures with out having to lug around a heavy camera. I have a EOS D50 which takes excellent pictures but is too heavy to take on an all day trip at an amusement park.

I love this camera! Small & easy to carry around! It takes really nice quality pictures! It was nice to not have to worry about it getting dropped or wet while on vacation! It was fun to take pictures & videos underwater too! It just takes some time to get used to the placement of the shutter button- gets confusing with the zoom. But, overall I am happy with this camera!

I was scared at first to take this cam under water at first...but it turned out quite well..had some awesome pics

This camera may be little but it takes great pictures anywhere. We took it to the beach to see Monsters on the beach and it took great pictures and videos. We then took it on our cruise where we used it on land and in the water to take pictures and videos. I love the panoramic picture option and took quite a few even under water. We have had no issues with this camera and we followed the instructions after using it in salt water.

Great camera with more features than I would have ever expected. Although this does make it a bit complicated so I would recommend reading the manual. Did not get to use it under water as of yet but the photos I took came out wonderfully. Highly recommended!
