The pictures came out really clear and the flash was great underwater.

Love this camera! Works great in and out of water. It’s nice to take to the pool or beach and be able to take pictures without the worry of water damage.

I got the camera open box for 150$ after weeks and weeks of researching what is the best value all round camera. I am extremely happy with it. Picture quality is great underwater and on land. Motion pictures are awesome. I literally took a picture of a high speed fan and the picture turned out as if it was a still picture. The video is full HD which is great. The design is really sleek to so it fits and comes out of pocket easy. It is easy to turn on to when you're in a rush. Macro lens is great as well. Finger gets in the way when youre just starting out but you get used to it. Totally recommend. My previous camera was also a sony cybershot which I had bought over 8 years ago which I would still be using it had I not misplaced it :p. Great camera company.

Nice slim, compact, travel friendly camera and picture quality is nice, . Clicks awesome pictures underwater. Only wish if battery life was little longer, it usually dies after clicking around 225~250 pictures.

I just recently came back from my honeymoon in Jamaica and this camera came in handy during outdoor adventures. We went to Dunns River Falls and i brought my camera with me to take pictures of the sights. I had my camera in my pocket while walking up the falls and at times being waist deep in water. I was so nervous that the camera wouldn't be the same even though it says waterproof. Well the pictures turned out great during the trip and it dried very quick once out of the water. So glad to have this camera!

I am only giving this camera 4 stars because I haven't used the underwater feature yet and I haven't had it long enough to find too many issues with it. The camera itself is beautiful, compact, and modern. It takes beautiful, vivid photos and amazing videos. I mean I was really impressed. The only thing is that I really hate that it is charged with a plug kept straight into the opening of the camera where the battery and the card are. The instruction booklet kept saying that everything must be kept sealed tight and we must not let any kind of dirt or dust etc get in the camera because then it will void the underwater feature so it just seemed kind of silly to me that that was the only way to charge it. It just had tons and tons of things to say about the care and cleaning of the camera and sealing it up properly that it really scares me to even try it under water. I purchased the first version of this camera a couple of years back and my first time putting it under water ruined the camera. Luckily, I had only had it in my care for about a week so they accepted a full return but that isn't the case this time so I am very nervous about putting this new one in the water since I would have to just take the loss and keep it at this point.

I have not testest the waterproof portion of the camera but the regular picter taking works great! The touch screen on the camera makes going through the menu much easier than pushing buttons.

Pictures are sharp, HD shooting is great, works great under water. I used at the pool, at the beach, no issues, great pics. It would be great if it would snap pictures faster, but for the price it definitely a great buy.

Great camera, takes awesome underwater pictures and great pictures on land as well. The zoom takes some getting used to, if you have other digital cameras. Taking videos tends to drain the battery, so make sure you keep that in mind. The PERFECT camera for vacation!

I bought this camera for work. It works great, takes great up close pictures. The waterproof part of the camera works well. I have had it completely submerged and the pictures are great.

I love this camera.its waterproof and perfect for vacations.its small and I've had it in the ocean .it takes pictures underwater and clear sharp video when I went parasailing.The pictures are very clear in any light condition and make it look like I know what I am doing.Its better than most in very low light .recomeend highly.

love the slide cover camera design. the touchscreen has a bit of a lag when scrolling through pictures but its not bad. the one bad thing is that you have to open the cover to connect the cable to charge the battery. this would not usually be a problem, except that on our first time trying to charge the camera, we opened the battery cover and the battery would not stay in place. we brought it back to best buy and the employee told us that there is a spring that holds the battery in place and it broke. that part is very flimsy and without that part holding the battery in place it won't charge.

Easy to use when in the water. Battery life when doing video last for about 5 hours but if you just do still photos it can go for 16 hours. The image quality is great just the panorama photo feature can be touch if you don't move at the right speed. Overall great camera for under water and out of the water.

small very portable, excellent quality. Poor battery life, but it lasts longer than nikon and canon waterproof. had both canon and nikon cameras, but I preferred the sony

The camera takes great pictures and has a really easy to use touch screen. The screen reacts fast and efficiently.

A friend of mine had the TX20 in the Bahamas and she took pics during bright sunny days, rainy nights, underwater, and above water. The clarity made me know that I had to have it! I purchased the newer model TX30, with many of the same features. I took it to our local Renaissance Festival, and WOW! When I got home and viewed on my computer, I was happily amazed. Our of 50 pictures, only one was blurry. And I didn't find any that needed to be photoshopped or adjusted. (I own a Canon SLR Rebel xsi, and have spent hours, when I got home from same Festival, trying to adjust and fix the pictures so I could post on FaceBook or email to friends). This camera TX30 is definitely perfect for taking great pictures, when you don't want to haul the big cameras around. And also knowing it can get wet, or dusty, is awesome.

Great camera all features are excellent Sony should of added wifi capability but it's still a great camera. Price at Sony store cheaper than Beat buy and could not get price match. This is an overall camera that takes great pictures and very easy to use.

We bought this camera for my Mother in law and this is her first Digital Camera, she really loves it and enjoys taking picture in it. Its very easy to use and she learnt a lot without / with little help from us. She loves it from day 1 she got it.

This is a tough camera without looking tough, it's small and sleek. Took it on vacation used on the beach & pool, got it wet. I used it underwater and the pictures came out great; it has a lot of features that I haven't used yet. The zoom is great for such a small camera. I'm very happy with my little camera. I also purchased it again for my mother.
