This camera is amazing! What a value! The pictures came out great and worked wonderful input cruise with the family snorkeling and also at the pool. Would recommend to others.

I bought this camera for my girlfriend for when we went on vacation in Mexico. I bought another camera for myself. The picture quality on this was remarkably better than my 16 mp camera. Both under and above water. I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting a sturdy reliable camera.

I bought this camera to take on a seven day cruise. It was perfect didn't matter if it got wet and it took really great pictures for a point and click camera.

Really nice and water proof. The display and functions are awesome. Great companion for a trip with children or adventure.

We just took this camera to Mexico and have the best pictures. We were actually surprised by how nice they were. We took it in the ocean and the pool; I didn't take any underwater pictures yet; but it is great that it is waterproof and is capable of taking underwater pictures. Definitely the best camera for vacation!

This camera takes amazing pictures and video underwater. We tried different settings for both pictures and videos. For the price the quality is amazing. Definitely recommend it.

Purchased this camera for my trip to Cancun and I must say that it did the job perfect!! Snorkeling photos came out great and even the videos came out gorgeous!

This little camera is awesome. Took it to the keys in vacation and used it in the pool, in salt water (rinse it!) and we use it summers boating on freshwater. Took it on a cruise. Pics are gorgeous. And it’s great size. Highly recommend for waterproof or general use when you don’t want to use your phone. Love.

I bought this camera before our disney cruise to the Bahamas. The main purpose was to be able to use it at the beach and pool and not have to worry about it getting a little wet, but we were thrilled with the quality of underwater snorkeling pictures that we got!

I have used this camera on a few occasions including underwater and am pleased with the results. It did get dropped once and dented the case, so it is not as rugged as I would like, but that didn't seem to affect the performance. It works great for its size and is perfect for what I was looking for.

Great waterproof camera. I have taken it to water parks as well as pools. I recorded myself cliff diving and the footage was great! My only complaint is that after transferring the videos to my MacBook the quality of the videos was not as great as I would have hoped. Still looks good, but more like watching a classic film. Other than that this is a great waterproof camera. I love it!!

I had the previous Sony TX10 model for a few years, which I loved, so I decided to purchase the newest version of this rugged camera when my old model was accidently damaged (the battery compartment wasn't closed all the way when it went under water, bummer I know). I love the new features the TX30 model offers, such as the "toy camera" and beauty effects. The HD filming for this little camera is unbelievable! Great colors, even in low lighting, and love the small size and touch screen. Happy with the image quality overall, but my only complaint is the appearance of "over-sharpening" of the images when magnified and zooming in on my computer screen. You obviously wouldn't want to blow up these images to a large poster-size because of this (loss of details when you view zoomed in). But, like I said, I love this camera--it is my favorite go-to travel camera since it is so durable and waterproof. Compact for traveling so you don't have to lug around a big dslr, all while still getting great color replication and awesome video HD.

Scared of getting your phone or nice DSLR wet? This is like an insurance policy for that. Perfect for most shots, and great for in the water. Don't risk your better cameras, use this instead - inexpensive, pocketable and waterproof.

Purchased this for a relative that wanted a waterproof camera. It takes great pictures. It is easy to use and we do not worry about getting it wet at the beach.

I took this to Disney world to all the parks including typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach. The pictures looked great even underwater. Great size too.

Very nice camera simple to use. Love the color. I have not tested the water feature but plan on it.

This camera works well near the water where you wouldn't want to risk more expensive equipment. We used it while kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico. A couple of negatives: (1) Performance underwater isn't stellar because the viewing screen is very difficult to see. We basically just pointed it in the general direction of what we intended to photograph, hoping to get a few decent shots and deleting the rest; and (2) Picture quality gets really grainy with use of the zoom lens. I read this in a prior review, and it is true. Bottom line - it enhanced our trip to take photos we would not otherwise be able to get (and at a decent price), but it is certainly a poor substitute for my traditional DSLR.
