I have had more then 1 dual shock controller. would buy more.

Sony, Has really stepped the Dualshock line of controllers up 3 notches. The touchpad, ergonomics and sixxasis. Really comfortable in hand and much larger than its prior predecessors. Enjoy hours of gaming with this controller. I love it but the battery life could have been slightly better.

I love my controller. It is great and my son and I play together. Great time between Father and Son.

Official Sony controller; why fix what's not broken. The design is flawless. I've used the same controller that came with my original PS3 since 2006 until I needed a new replacement from parts wearing down. The texture, the feel, the weight, the layout of the buttons, the size, the battery life... it all just feels good to me. I have nothing bad to say about it.

I love this controller and when I eventually wore out the original one (same controller) that came with my PS3 I knew I wanted to get the same exact one. I have heard so many terrible things about the cheap brand controllers that can be bought at other retailers and how they need to be replaced often because they are- well cheap. I play rough and have not broken one of them yet! I also like the feel/ texture of the controller its smooth and not slippery when my hands get clammy.

Nothing like a fresh controller. Got it so I could play 2 player games with gf. Batteries last long and charge fast. They kinda feel sturdier than a Dualshock 4.

The PS4 controller is larger than the PS3 controller, which makes it easier to hold, and has a smooth slicone like covering on handles for easier grip. Play enhancements include real-time action sound directly from the controller speaker, new mic, and larger colored light display to signal activity, battery life, etc. There are also added buttons at each front left and right side to enhance game play moves and stunts in various games, and has a "share" and "options" buttons on face (top) next to left and right finger buttons; includes an an ext port and headphones jac.

I wouldn't choose any other controller for my ps3. Dual shock 3 is the way to go for comfort, battery life, and durability.

Best Buy priced matched the regular price of the PS3 controller to match that of an online vendor, saved $18. If you need something quick and do not want to wait for shipping from your favorite online vendor because they got the lowest price, go to Best Buy and see if they will price match. I might not order video games and accessories online much anymore since Best Buy will price match the price at their brick and mortar stores when you show the cashier the web price on your smart phone.

I've had wireless remotes before, this one is so much better, I like the denim finish and holds a charge for quite awhile

Great controller. It's tempting to buy the off brand but after reading reviews decided to pay a little more. Bestbuy didn't have the best price but they matched Target. They say they match Amazon but only stuff that's fulfilled by Amazon. They wouldn't match Sony (the manufacturer) selling it on Amazon.

My college kids were looking to have a major gaming session over Christmas break but discovered one of our controllers was missing. Thankfully Best Buy still carried them! My kids got to work out some major stress and the Sony controller kept up. Sony products are great so no surprise there. Thanks!

This may be a little pricey for $50+ but I've got to say this is the best PS3 controller available if you want good quality & almost zero problems during gameplay. These are very reliable and are worth paying more for. I have always enjoyed playing all my PS3 games with these controllers.

There are numerous PS3 aftermarket controllers, but the truth is, you'll exchange quality in order to save a few dollars over the Sony OEM controller. No matter what you're gaming level (and I'm no hard core gamer), you'll appreciate not having the frustrations that come with cheap controllers.

Controller is a little pricey, but last what you pay for.

playing with a dual shock pad is better than the conventional one. I find it more enjoying. Plus the vibration feels like you're in the action. So when playing a first person shooter, get the edge.

Needed another controller for our PS3. Best buy price matched and made my purchase a no brainer. Haven't found a bad original PS3 controller yet. Can't say the same about 3rd party controllers though. If you need another controller for your PS3 or PS4 (for that matter), you can never go wrong by getting the original ones that are made for them.

My kids have keep beating up our older controllers, so occasionally you need to buy a new one. Nothing like the Dual-Shock 3 controller by Sony. Certain items have to be from the manufacturer...Great battery life and it will last a long time...

The Sony PS3 controllers are good quality. I've had a lot of them over the years and the battery outlasts the controller. I've never broken the actual controls through rigorous playing, only by stepping on the controller. The only reason why I don't give the controller five stars is due to the cable connector on the controller, as this seems to be the only weak point on it. Over a long time constantly plugging the cable in and pulling it out can make it loose, and when it gets too loose it fails to charge. Take care with the cable and connector and the controller will last a very long time.
