It's just a controller but when the old one dies it's time for a new one

this controller works great the only complaint I have is the price.

Wireless. Its the same control it comes with the PlayStation 3 console.

It works well with the console, which is pretty much all I needed.

No bells or whistles, but gets the job done. I would purchase again.

For intense gamers, the PS3 controller can wear out after a year or so of very heavy use. Fighting games in particular use almost all the buttons, triggers and direction pads. And since Sony is really pushing the PS4 (and related controllers), you should get these while they're readily available if you want to use PS3 for the next few years.

Works great lasts longer than competition brands, also holds the charge longer. Well worth the extra money because it is a better quality remote overall.

This controller is an exact replacement for the one my son wore out. Being an avid gammer myself, I can say that this controller is durable and has a long battery life.

I bought a used PS3 that did not come with a controller. Decided to get one from BestBuy and it did not disappoint. I could not imagine playing the PS3 without this controller. I tried the non-Sony clones but those never matched the original.

We bought an off brand controller first which literally had 1/4 of the functionality/directional ability on the keypad. I highly recommend for any user playing FPS or games where precision aiming is required to buy this official PS3 brand controller.

These controllers are annoyingly expensive but are way better than the cheap $20 ones that get ruined in a month. This controller can last a long time as long as you don't throw it all over the place.
