You can't go wrong for the price of this DVD Player. Great functionality, picture and HDMI too.

I bought this to replace an older DVD player that I could not connect to my new 1080p TV because the older player did not have an HDMI output. I use it only to play DVDs, not any of the streaming services on the Internet. It was easy to connect and configure. It works fine! I did not buy a Blu-Ray player because I did not have any Blu-Ray videos.

I ordered online, it arrived on time, wasn’t damaged and it works. What else do you need?

I bought this item for my dad for a Christmas gift, he loves it and how it enhances to sound of his stereo system, easy to hook up wiring and touch controls and easy access to use

I needed a basic DVD player with HDMI input. He was the only one that fits my needs for my system. All the other players use RCA pin inputs Which My system did not except. Small size enables it to fit under my 43” UHD TV. In addition it will upgrade a standard DVD to 1080 which is a very nice feature. A great buy for the price.

This is a good, solid player at a reasonable price. Have used for about a month without any issues. So glad I didn't have to just 'pitch' all my older DVD's and will be able to enjoy them for several more years. I would definitely recommend this player if your basically looking for something basic to watch all those great movies you already own.

Easy to set up. The movies played are clear and the colors are very vivid. All around a nice DVD player for the money.

I bought this after returning the DVP-SR210P since it was HDMI compatible. It’s worth the extra though since before hand I could only connect the other one to my TV through AV. This DVD player connected through both AV and HDMI so I could set it up with more devices like the projector I had. It didn’t come with its own HDMI cable though and the instructions were in black and white pictures with very little instructions. You kinda need to have some understanding of how to connect it to whatever device or look up a tutorial since it’s not that straightforward.

Great quality with HDMI connection. The cd-dvd player was very compact and the price was lower than I expected.

Inexpensive and easy to use - connections are easy and the divide works will with the remote or on the front of the player.

This dvd player was so easy to set up and I love Sony products. My previous dvd player was a Sony- I got it 19 years ago and it stll works great, but I just updated my TV and the old dvd player did not interact with it so I had to update my dvd player. I would defnitely recommend the Sony dvd player to anyone!

Product works well with great picture quality. It is compact and attractive and is easy to use.

Great size, nice remote, like that it us HDMI or component video cables. No HDMI cable included. Seems like a decent player. I have it as a back up.

The product is what garnered the 5 stars. Purchase and delivery experience I would rate far lower. Online interface insinuates buyer is getting an item that they see is in-stock at a certain location fairly close to them. If that were true, item could have arrived as early as next day, three days later max. However, the item I received actually came from a location 1,500 miles away and thus arrived far later than expected! I wished I had known that because IF I had, I might have opted to drive the 35-40 miles to pick up the said item which was indicated as in-stock. Poor communication and inconsiderate service, I think.

Was looking for a upscaling dvd player to replace an old one it he kids room and this thing works perfect and its about a 1/4 of the size of the old one.

This is is a great little DVD player. Absolutely no complaints. Provides a good picture and very easy to use. Good value.
