These Sony in-ear headphones offer solid sound quality for their price. The bass is punchy, and they fit comfortably in the ears. The built-in microphone is a handy feature for calls. However, the cable feels a bit flimsy, and noise isolation could be better. Overall, a good budget choice.

Good Quality for the price. The Sony MDREX14AP wired earbuds offer impressive sound quality with 9mm neodymium drivers. They come with a built-in microphone for convenient calls, a comfortable fit thanks to hybrid silicone earbuds, and a lightweight design. These affordable earbuds are perfect for everyday use and provide a reliable wired connection via the 3.5mm connector.

For the price ($9.99) they are essentially great. Even at five times the price they are good. Once you get a good fit (important for any phones) they have pretty good bass. Not much above 10K which, in this era of digital compression/encoding is a good thing. The roll off on the highs creates a smooth, pleasant sound. Imaging is only fair as a result. They have pretty decent dynamics and are relatively efficient, however, if you need it really loud, look elsewhere. The cable and connector is fairly durable. I sleep in them and they are very comfortable. My dog chewed up the first pair so I bought two more!

For just $10, these Sony MDREX14AP wired earbuds deliver shockingly good sound quality! The bass is punchy, the mids are clear, and the overall audio is well-balanced—way better than expected at this price. Why I love them: Crisp, detailed sound – Perfect for music, podcasts, and calls. Surprisingly powerful bass – Great for hip-hop and EDM. Comfortable fit – Lightweight with three ear tip sizes for a secure seal. Tangle-resistant cable – No fuss, just plug and play. Insane value – Outperforms earbuds 2-3x the price. I’ve used these daily for commuting, workouts, and Zoom calls, and they’ve held up perfectly. If you need affordable, reliable earbuds, these are a no-brainer. Best $10 I’ve spent on audio!

    Basic Earbuds with Great Comfort

I purchased these earbuds to use at the gym. The first thing I noticed when I put them in my ears is how comfortable they are. The rubber ear pieces are extremely soft and fit snugly in your ears, with little chance they will fall out while running or doing other activities. The sound is decent with slightly over the top bass, which is pretty standard for Sony. While the sound doesn't touch my Sennhesier earbuds, for $10 I can't really complain. The cord is quite thin which is nice because you can barely notice them flapping around, but I've got to question the durability. We'll see how that goes. Overall, these Sony earbuds have exceeded my expectations.

These are very good earbuds for the money. They are quite affordable, but are better made and sound better than some other earbuds that cost more. Certainly superior to the cheaper ones. They have decent bass for earbuds and 3D surround sound in games that support it work with these. The default ear pieces fit my ears just fine, but I'm glad that they sell them with other sizes included. The earpieces that come off are comfortable even for extended listening. I espeically like the L shaped plug in jack. I use these for playing my 3DS XL and the phone jack is in the bottom of the unit, so if you rest it on your lap while reclining, it doesn't pinch the cord. Every wired device like this should have an L shaped jack.

I own three of these earbuds because they are so good. Great to carry around, fit in my ear well, and work with all of my devices. Wonderful for monitoring studio recordings, great for video games, and work well with phone calls. I highly recommend them, and they come at a great price point as well. I doubt you'll find many better pairs of earbuds for this cheap. They do get annoying after a little bit of use, but I have yet to find a pair of earbuds that does not. These seem to go the longest without bothering me, and they come with various sizes of rubber ear tips.

I am very surprised by the great value these offer. Sound quality is easily great, with just the right amount of bass which makes the music sound natural. I have chosen them because I knew they have right-angled jack and a tiny one at that which is convenient when used with laptop in bed as you are less likely to bend / damage it. I was not expecting them sounding this well too. And the comfort is exemplary. To achieve and really enjoy the best comfort and especially sound quality of these, remember that there is a certain right way to insert these type of in-ear phones and it really makes huge difference. You have to use you opposite hand overhead and pull your ear lobe up so you create bigger opening into you ear canal and then insert the earphone in. Only this way you will achieve best sound isolation, quality and best comfort.

Picked up on sale for under $8 and are a great value at that price. The kids used them for their MP3 player and tablets without any issues. Multiple tip options offer a better fit and possible backup if they somehow outlive the cord itself. They don't particularly outperform their price point on sound quality, but they are great as a budget option and have held up better than I expected.

Really great for whenever I am listening to things on my computer for a long period of time. It comes with several different size tips and are pretty comfortable to wear for a long time without hurting my ear. It definitely reduces the sound I hear around me - though I wouldn’t expect them to completely make the noise disappear! When I am on zoom and am speaking, my classmates are able to hear me with no issues, too. So far I’ve had them for 4 months and they are still fine. I would definitely recommend getting these if you are just looking for an inexpensive pair of earbuds.

Work fine, sound is good, microphone seems to be good. There have been reports about fragility but need to spend some time with them. Currently using them on an iphone 16 with a USB C to headphone adapter.

First, these are good earbuds, As stated with good bass, mids and highs. They have three sets of cushions for different sized ears. At least for my ears they fit very well out the box. The built-in microphone works okay but some time will drop out, tend to muffle speech, and when moving quite a bit of rustling noise. Now the noise on the cord is quite loud when just sitting and listening to any audio (unless that audio is high volume). Compared to other brands the cord doesn't tangle as badly or quickly. Now I say good bass, for those who say otherwise, because I used to have only over-the-ear and the foam cushioned earbuds. Both of those had decent bass at high volume. While these at 8-22khtz are good through a wide range of volume. There is none of the tinning from the highs as with cheaper earbuds when high volume and the mids stay un-garbled as well. You could spend less money and get something no where near as good or you could even spend much more and get some fantastic sound. For the price these are good, solid and well worth it. I own another pair for over a year and have had no problems.

Helpful when listening to audiobooks on a trip or taking online test with verbal questions. Also great to keep what I am listening to to myself. Very good sound quality. No they stay in my ear while in use which is sometimes a problem because I have small ears

I am not a person who knows everything about headphones, but I don't know nothing, I can just say: They're fantastic! I love them because I can use them with my psp, PC and even in my phone with an adapter. I missed these kind of products that I don't understand why are this cell phone companies getting rid of.

The headphones are also comfortable enough that I can use them for several hours straight without any discomfort or annoyance. Additionally, they're very affordable, which makes them a fantastic option if you're looking for cheaper headphones with good quality. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these Sony headphones!

The **Sony MDREX14AP Wired Earbud Headphones** in white are decent for the price. The sound quality is clear, though not exceptional, and they provide a satisfactory listening experience for casual use. The fit is comfortable for extended periods, but the build quality feels a bit lightweight. They work well for basic tasks like calls and music playback, but audiophiles might find the sound lacking in depth and bass. Overall, these earbuds are okay if you're looking for an affordable, no-frills option.

Definitely worth the price. Decent audio quality and the ear tip grip has a hard time coming out on its own. I wish the mic could be better as people have a hard time hearing me with it on calls but for the price I can't complain.
