nothing wrong with Best Buy refurbished or even the awesome system. the PS4 pro seems to have a serious flaw regarding a design issue where the sustem turns on by itself and off which messes with the os and hdd. often it will become to a point where i need to reinstall firmware. there were several nights the system turned on by itself and kept resetting. i have read many issues regarding thiS. BEST BESY DID A FANTASTIC JOB of refunding the system within my elite member day limit (30). without much issues. i really recommend using Best Buy’s warrenty and after service. i been a member for about 15 years, and they never disappointed me. the stat review goes toward the design flaw of the system NOT Best Buy. Besides, the new PS5 came out, so I would wait to for that system instead when it becomes more available.

Disgusting people and product. Ordered a PS4 Pro and got a PS4 Slim. Now they are refusing to process the return. Never buying anything from best buy. There was no minimal support. When we contacted customer service over call they said we can return at any bestbuy store. We travelled 50 min to reach the store only for them to reject it??

Item came in perfect condition. Was happy to add it to my console collection

Great value for the price always wanted a PlayStation 4 pro I'm old school already have library of games can't wait to play never thought I would see one for sale at Best buy game works well I'm satisfied

A very good console for someone that is on a budget and wants something cheap. It is still reliable in 2025 and I got it for $200 dollars so it was a steal.

I love this product it is better than the slim it does not overheat it's quieter and even though it is a little bit more bulky you're still a better system overall

I took a shot on a Geek Squad Certified Refurbished unit. Ordering and shipping were a breeze and set-up was going great, too. Until the PS4 wouldn't power up. I kept thinking it must be user error, to the point that I even watched an online "unboxing" video to see if there was some weird way to power it up that I couldn't figure out. Finally, I went and found the power cord to my old PS3, hooked it up to the new PS4 and, sure enough, the unit powered up. With all respect to the Geek Squad, letting a refurbished product go out the door without a functioning power cord seems like a pretty major oversight. I called Best Buy a few times to see about getting a new cord, but never got through to a person. (Certainly understand they're busy due to Covid stuff -- but frustrating that there's no way to email regarding a product.) So I guess I'll keep using my old PS3 cord. Aside from that issue, the PS4 has worked fine.

Okay, so I grow up playing on a PlayStation. My last ps was a ps2 so about 2004. Heavens these systems have come along way since then. The design quality is great and the easy of use is great for a somewhat 30ish year old to the NEW GAMING WORLD.

Controller came with stick drift on both sides. When I tried to schedule a repair, I encountered the most unhelpful AI chatbot that refused to put me through to a real agent, and insisted that the repair could be done in store. It could not and I ended up returning the console because it wasn't worth the hassle.

Received this playstation 4 Pro with the wrong power cord. Contacted customer support and they said I could return the entire device or take the cord to Best Buy and they would exchange the cord. Took the wrong cord to the store and they dont have the replacement cord available in store or online. How is this geek squad certified if you dont even have the right power adapter with it????

Product arrived with the wrong power cord and missing a headset. Console also had a game left inside of it from what I’m assuming was the previous owner. I have my doubts about this being legitimately refurbished and not just a used product that was repackaged. There were issues with the shipping and the exchange/return and it was more of a hassle than it was worth to save a few extra bucks. Should have read the other reviews.

My Son loves it, not sure about the storage space for games. I don't know much about these things...but he has been playing and having a great time with the games and graphics!

Often I like to spend the extra money and just buy things new. But bestbuy never disappoints with their geek squad refurbished. I always buy their tvs this way. And I did the same with the PS4. Even when you buy an electronic device brand new it can always have issues. Also, since best buy serviced it before purchase they always stand behind their products even years after purchase.

great console but is no coming with any cords and controllers

haven't played games since college 15 years ago. but due to being lockdown covid 19 I decided to dive back into it in case I get bored. if youre into grpahics this PlayStation does it all. again I played on first PS so its a dramatic change. wow.. im so behind in the gaming world but glad to see all the new features in games

The system was brand new but they didn't add the dualshock controller. I tried to talk to them about it, they told me to send it back but i didn't want to because the PS4's are sold out right now, so i just bought a spare controller for cheap.

Bought this for my bf for his bday and I had him open it straight from the box. I had bought him an extra controller prior so that his nephew can play with him. Once he opened it, he realized it ONLY came with the console and 1 power cord. That's it. I reread the description from my receipt online and sure enough, it was suppose to include everything. Thankfully it was a geek squad approved refurbished console so I was able to swap it out but not after going to 2 best buys. The 1st one couldn't help since their systems were down

The usb slots refused to work. Ended up returning.

This pro is not a good buy. 1 cost more than new 2 my download is slower than my old brick ps4. 3 games lag more on this ps4 than old one. 4 ths is a refurbished they may not beable to fix. 5. this system, the refurbished pro from geek sent out unfishished product. 6 statifation is not guaranteed and my new used system is worse than my almost 10 year old one that has never been cleaned. 7 wasted my money system cant copy ( instal ) its more like it stalls. 8 im not sure if anyone is going to help me on this and i have the protection plan.
