Was looking for a cheap dependable easy to use camera and this one fit the bill. Especially like the play memory app for my smart phone can start recording and zoom in and out through this very important for what I was attempting to do. Battery life was as good as you could expect. I will highly recommend this camera.

I found the camcorder worth every penny I spent! I have used the Sony Camcorder in low light to mid day sunlight and every time I have used this camcorder I have found it to provide a clear picture. I am in love with the projector as well; although, I never thought I would use the projector when I purchased the Camcorder it has been so useful to review my recordings or pictures.

Compact size. Easy to use. Built in projector was a plus!

The experience I've had with this camera so far has been great! It's easy to use and takes great video. I got it to shoot video inside at night, and it does that very well. Daytime videos are awesome too! Great video camera for a great price!

Needed a camera for a project but didn't want to break the bank. The playback on the camera had me doubting but once I loaded the video on my PC the sound and picture were awesome! User friendly and doesn't break the bank!

I had same handycam but touch screen was lost during travel. So I decided to buy this model. Not touch screen thou but had same cool features. Good quality lenses and projector which is why this cam stands out. Very light weight and easy to use. I love this sony handycam

Takes quality HD video up close and from a distance. Handles a 128 GB memory card very well. The projector not only works but gives a very clear image. I've used the on camera projector to show presentations and game video.

We got this camera for our business to shoot misc videos. So far, the videos have been great quality. This is great for a beginner, I would definitely recommend a bigger camera for someone that has more experience, as this one seems pretty basic.

The camera is user friendly and easy to use. I would prefer it to have touch screen and have a little better lighting when video taping. The picture is good and it's fun to project on the wall.

I purchased the camera to use on a cruise with my family. Didn't have a lot of time to review all features/uses before using the camera on our cruise. Camera seemed very easy to use and the projection feature was very unique and useful. I did experience a loss of all the photos/videos I took for the first three days. I opened the camera to review the pictures I had taken last and the display read "No photos or videos". Disappointed about the loss but I continued to use the camera during the rest of our cruise. I contacted Sony when I returned from the cruise but they didn't have much to say about the loss of my photos/videos nor did they offer to do anything about the loss.

Very light and easy to use. The no touch screen was an issue to get used to but the quality of the images is good for the price. The memory card slot was a slight issue when inserting. Have to get it just right for it to recognize. If you are looking for simple inexpensive camera that gets the job done, this is the one.

I love this camera. My husband bought it for me so I wouldn't miss sports activities while I had to work, and the picture quality is great. Highly recommended

I been using the camera to video my granddaughters birthday I was well please that it was easy to use and I went home and used the projector it was very clear picture

I bought this for my dad to record the grandkids sporting events so it hasn't been used for that quite yet. I messed around with it and then showed him how to use the basic functions and it is easy to use and the picture is really good even when zoomed in all the way. I sort of miss the old view finder windows which were easier to follow something but that's pretty much long gone these days. Over all the recordings are easy, and even my dad seems to have the hang of it. We recorded a few cars passing by from a distance to emulate kids playing football from a distance and the images were very good. I would buy this again as it is really good at this price point.

I really don't have enough experience with this camera yet to give it a proper rating. I will say it seemed easy to use right out of the box (which is basically what I had to do the day I bought it!). I think it's fairly easy to figure out it's settings, but the day I used it for filming a presentation, it cut off after an hour (memory full?). I later realized it was because I had it on the highest quality setting. So, take note, if it's on that setting, I guess you don't have much memory storage on the camera. I love that it's small & easily portable. That's a real plus. I love that it's Sony...I've always had good quality results with Sony camcorders. I think for the money, this is a good, basic camcorder.

I liked the camcorder, it does what it supposed to do. Projector is cool, it's small but good enough for home use. Camera picture quality is good, liked the photo feature too.

I bought this to record my Daughter's volleyball games. It works great. easy to use and set up. Menu is a bit much, could be streamlined a bit or put things under another icon. Battery life was pretty good, It recorded 2 full volleyball games (4 total sets) I still had half power showing but I switched just to make sure I didn't have to change batteries in the middle of a game. Video turned out amazing. I also used it to video some action shooting for a buddy of mine.

I'm on my 5th generation of video cameras and of course, with all the new technology this is the best ever. It's so light, easy to use and has the best software that make my videos look like they are done by professionals.
