Very Good Soundbar

They pair up nicely with both Sony TVs we have bought the last 5 years. Neither TV is capable of Dolby Vision but I like the Dolby Atmos sound and capabilities for the future. I like the wireless subwoofer. This system will never give you what our theatre room can with HSU Research speakers and sub, and new Sony TV-receiver capable of Dolby Vision and Atmos. It’s just not that good but it’s great as a simple soundbar with new tech. Well done Sony!

The sound now fills our room. It also makes listening to music enjoyable. It has built in audio filters for adjusting the sound to compliment whatever you're listening to (music, talk, cinema). There are a few options available for connecting the speaker bar with the TV. I went with ARC, but that was a bit confusing since that also required configuration changes to my TV's audio.

Will recommend Best Buy for home theatre purchases. . . for one thing, because of their return policy if you're not satisfied. Seemed very cooperatvie when I returned my first home theatre system before I purchased the Bose. The Bose sounds great. But be aware that Bose' speaker wiring is quite different and will not just conveniently work with wiring that might be already installed behind your walls. . . but can be made to work. However, the sound quality is worth the inconvenience in hind sight.

It is definitely an improvement over the TV's built-in speakers, but it won't replace a proper surround-sound setup. Also, be sure to update the firmware if you plan to use the Bluetooth functionality. Mine kept cutting out before I did that.
