My mom who is 92 lives with me and thought it would help her to hear better. The 2.1 wasn't powerful enough for her so Hunter told me to try the 3.1. Returned the 2.1 and Hunter came out and installed the 3.1. It has made a difference in Mom hearing but not as much as I would have hoped. Hunter said we could try speakers but can't afford to spend that much money. Hunter has been a wonderful help to me.

Awesome Sound Bar

I had a 2.1 Sony sound bar previously that still did okay for the room size. I picked this unit up to test the Atmos Sound and she rocks for the room. sounds comes from all directions. I would definitely reccomend Sony products. Sony keeps a competitive edge by offering a large family of products that work toegther. Makes an excellent gift for the Man Cave or She Shed.

It really was a great deal especially on Black Friday this year. It’s good for small and medium size areas would not recommend for large open spaces. Definitely much better than built in speaks on TVs. Sound quality has taken a big hit in order to reduce the size of TVs. Definitely recommended!

Ok soundbar.

It’s not too loud and the sub is ok at best. I have it ARC connected to my OLED Sony tv. It’s ok if you want some noise. But I’ll be definitely getting something else in the future.

After getting it all hooked up, I realized i was missing the remote. Disappointing because it sounded great but did need slight adjustments that can only be done with the remote. I had to ultimately send it back because a remote could not be ordered by the store by itself. I thought about buying one myself until saw they were $75!!! for a remote that's not universal. So i tried ordering another open box excellent. This one had no packing to secure it while being shipped and was damaged, so i sent it back. Ordered another one on my last attempt and everything came this time and looked great, but this one did not sound as well as the first one i received, so I just decided to go with something else now. Has potential to be amazing provided its new maybe or just without any issues.
