    Got this because of the eARC feature to go with my Samsung OLED. Good clear sound but not heavy on bass. This is perfect for a midsize family room. If you want deep heavy theater sound this is not for you. But if you want clear crisp sounds with balanced bass this is perfect.

    randomly shuts off and the hdmi input only works half the time. does not actually help with voice sound as the background noises still take over so you still cannot hear dialogue.

      Hi JeremyD, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your HTG700 soundbar. For the dialogue issue, setting the Voice function to On will make dialogues easily heard by enhancing dialogue range on the HTG700 Soundbar. This can be enabled or disabled by pressing the Voice button on the Sony Remote. You may also try the Night mode feature of the HTG700. Night mode function outputs the sound at low volume with minimum loss of fidelity and clarity of dialogue.

    I bought this sound bar to go along with my recent purchase of a Sony TV and it does not disappoint. I will say that I got it when it was at a discounted price so it did soften the blow to my wallet because this sound bar is quite expensive. Having said that it was worth every penny because the sound it produces is amazing and I can not imagine my TV without a sound bar anymore.

    What I like most about this soundbar compared to others is that the sound is clear and crisp. The range goes from 0-100 and other soundbars have a range of 0-40. You would have to increase the sound on other soundbars to hear their voices clearly. On this soundbar, you do not have to. If you want that booming sound, you can adjust it but clarity is more important to me.
