It goes back-and-forth to the TV speakers into the sound bar. I called Sony the very first week I purchased it and that was over a year ago and they are very rude, Not professional it did not help me solve the problem.

I'm so old school that making everything work in sinc is a challenge. But we enjoy the movie theater like sound especially with all the kids enjoying it. Since there are no movies theaters to go to we installed it in house. Hopefully many other can enjoy this sound bar for the new year. Quality is awesome.

Connection is instant, bass is good, and unfortunately, I cant turn it up because of complaints from spouse and kids. Tried other brand soundbars from LG, Samsung and Vizio before finding my way home.

I think that's trade off you have to live with for better sound. The good thing is that not many games actually use 120fps.

Best Buy did give me a new one, althouhg it was a bit of a hassle. I recommend making an installation appointment when you order it, or prior to pickup so that you stay within the 15 day return time frame.

The sound is great. The only negative was that there were no instructions with the sounder (perhaps the people that delivered it left it in the box when they took it out). So I looked it up on the internet and got the instructions there.

E hdmi cird connection failed multiple times. Using the Bluetooth option and it works great. I figured the corded option would give vetter sound but not an option apparently.

Standard Mode - This will allow you to hear the sound of a TV program clearly.
Cinema - This mode is suitable for watching movies. You feel immersed by the sound that travels behind you and surrounds your entire body
Music - Vividness, and glossiness of the sound are expressed in detail. This mode is suitable for enjoying music in a way that moves you
You can also use AUTO SOUND mode which will change the Sound Mode from Standard, Cinema, and Music based on the content played.
Also, updating the software of the HTG700 (version 1.055) will help improve the overall performance of the soundbar.
