E hdmi cird connection failed multiple times. Using the Bluetooth option and it works great. I figured the corded option would give vetter sound but not an option apparently.

Standard Mode - This will allow you to hear the sound of a TV program clearly.
Cinema - This mode is suitable for watching movies. You feel immersed by the sound that travels behind you and surrounds your entire body
Music - Vividness, and glossiness of the sound are expressed in detail. This mode is suitable for enjoying music in a way that moves you
You can also use AUTO SOUND mode which will change the Sound Mode from Standard, Cinema, and Music based on the content played.
Also, updating the software of the HTG700 (version 1.055) will help improve the overall performance of the soundbar.

Only problem is when you fast forward on your TV the sound bar disconnects and you have to turn it on an off. Otherwise happy with the product

Hope it lasts longer than the last one did.

It was the sub-woofer they said that was bad, making it the 2nd one to go bad on me. Later I tried to use the remaining sound bar on another TV and it appears to have failed as well, even though I took it to a Best Buy store and had the Geek Squad check it out. In my opinion the quality of the Geek Squad has really deteriorated in the past few years. It used to be that you could go in and there would be at least 2 techs that seemed to know what they were doing, now it seems the Geek Squad members are just doing on-the-job training, and were just pulled off the sales floor to do their shift.

On another note - can someone please create speakers that don't play the commercials at triple the sound of whatever I was watching? I know I'm not the only one and we should tar and feather whoever made this a thing.
