Not recommend lacking bass

I have the 7.1 dolby bravia soundbar which i know it’s better, but i figured this lower version wouldn’t be that lackluster. It was. This was for spare bedroom. I think it’s worth 199 Max considering how poor the Bass is.

Please note that when the input source does not contain much bass sound, such as in TV programs, the bass sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. We were told it would by sales person. Sounds good but takes separate controller and a lot if patience. Sony 3.1 Soundbar & Wireless Subwoofer

Initial installation was very straight forward and it comes with a template to install the two mounting screws (not included). I have the hdmi cable and optical cables connected to the tv from the soundbar and the tv picture is enhanced by the crystal clear and crisp audio which sounds absolutely amazing from very low volume all the way to maximum, no distortion or clipping at all I am very impressed with this product and I would insist that my friends purchase this also.

With the HT-A5000, you feel like you are not only in a sphere of sound, but inside the movie itself. To ensure that you are getting the most out of the HT-A5000, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the soundbar can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room.
