This sound system is easy to use and sounds great . You can enhance voice or set to music. The subwoofer is paired beautifully.

It sounds great! It has plenty of volume and very clean sounding. Definitely has surprised me in a good way. Movies are amazing. Really amazes me how you can actually hear it surround in the whole room, yet it’s only that one bar in front of me and the sub. I have a pretty large room it’s in as well. Good bass too. I watched one of the Jurassic Park movies and I had dinosaurs stomping in my house. Great job again Sony! Definitely recommend this product.

I was confused between sony and bose soundbar, of course bose 900 soundbar is much better than this one but this sony g700 is very close to bose soundbar in-terms of delivering atmos dolby surrounding sound quality, i would definitely recommend this one if you want something budget friendly without compromising sound quality

Love it it’s made well (it’s a Sony) great sound clear and full it has sound adjustments you can change especially the sub-woofer However I would have given it 5-stars but something is just missing for $650.00 and I don’t know what it is. I’ll figure it out in do time

Clean clear sound. I love how easy Sony gear connects to each other. My tv controls the sound bar from one remote using the sync feature with the hdmi cable. Sound modes, on and off, and volume easy peasy. This is used in my bedroom and provides great sound with the wireless rear speakers to create a full room sound experience. I can watch movies or sleep with ambient sounds and feel relaxed.

This Sony Soundbar is working fine, and produces the improvement in sound over my Samsung TV's built-in sound that I hoped for. The soundbar was fairly easy to connect following the instructions, and worked immediately upon connection. The quality of sound is impressive, especially the sound of soundtrack background music. For me the ultimate test was listening to a streaming recording of a Kansas City Symphony Orchestra performance. The sound was very good with beautifully sounding solos and ensemble playing from the violin and cello sections, and strong rich double bass sounds well projected. The full orchestral sound was lush and flowing, and also crisp where called for. I particularly liked how the more complex contrapuntal sections retained clarity with each part remaining distinct. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. For my tastes, the volume of this unit is quite sufficient to fill a fairly large room containing a lot of sound-absorbing carpet and furniture. The different sound modes are a nice touch, though I haven't used them much yet. The voice mode does help bring out dialogue, and we used the music mode to good effect while listening to the symphony concert. I can't say that I have really noticed the 3-D spatial effects that are advertised, but I may not have watched the right movies for those to be prominent. Overall I am very pleased with this soundbar.

There are higher end models that may give you better sound dynamics but, for the price, I have loved this unit. Easy to install and for the past two-ish years I've had this, it's been great.

Offers a lot of options but definitely need the comprehensive owner’s manual to navigate. Great sound and much better than my old Polk. Voice enhancement works well ,subwoofer is powerful and remote is easy to use. Much better than the Samsung I paid twice as much for and returned due to being defective. Good value for the money but don’t lose the owner’s manual.

This sound bar was a nice upgrade from my old Sony sound bar. It's not going to give you a true surround sound feel because it's just a soundbar and sub. But for it being just the sound bar and sub it sounds great! Clear crisp sound and rich bass. Definitely worth buying. Got lucky and got it 50% off on an open box buy. I've seen it go for $400 at times and it's definitely worth that.

I believe i was impressed with this soundbar when I listened to it in store, it sounded great, got real loud, and was far better than all the other budget soundbars i was considering before.I finally got it on a sale recently and since i got it at home to do everything I normally listen to, I slowly began to accept that it's really not adding what I hoped it would add to my listening experience. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I'm sure anyone could tell you this is not at all great for music. The subwoofer is almost non-existent I feel... I eventually returned it. At $300 it's better than most at that price, at $600 I'm sure there's many better.

Excellent product. I tried a couple no-name cheaper brands but the quality and connectivity was terrible. Decided to pay more and get a Sony system and great decision. With ARC HDMI it connects instantly and integrates with Sony remote. I love being able to select different sound modes for various applications and control subwoofer on the fly depending on the show/movie/sporting event. Only downside which is minor is I wish the subwoofer was a little stronger I have it maxed and it’s great but I do think having a little more headroom if wanted more would be available.

What an excellent system! So much clearer than the Samsung system I was using. Synch’s very easily with every TV I’ve used it with. Recommend!

Nice sound, fills room with much more sound than tv’s speakers. Bass is adequate but would be awesome if it had separate volume control. I use this in my bedroom and I’d recommend for smaller spaces up to 3-400 square feet. And I’d buy it again!

By far the best equipment that I’ve bought. Paired with my new song tv it is the best bang for your buck. The adjustments are great and it doesn’t get any better watching sporting events

The soundbar is just what you need to make things you’re watching come alive. The subwoofer works and sounds perfect. Since it is wireless, you can place it anywhere that has an electrical outlet. It is really a kick.
