Sound Quality is great and a lot of adjustments available with the remote, It can be hardwired into your tv or Bluetooth to it. We have had it 2 years now and its still performing great. We have it Bluetooth to the tv about 12 feet away and there is no problems with connectivity.

I tried several sound systems before finalizing this one, I am very happy with my purchase. Sound is very clear and bass is good to for being 300w sound system. Definitely recommend this.

Super loud bass and surround sound I can watch any movie and feel like I am there without going to the movies I would recommend this to everyone who wants a better home theater

Yo this sound bar is so good. So many settings. I can us it on my tv, phone, tablet, laptop. The bass is really nice the sound is so crisp and clear and it can get so loud.

We really like the sound bar. We have a sony TV and it integrates nicely with the TV remote control. We really like the Sony products (TV and Sound Bar). They usually last for a long time.

Impressed with this bar. I’m using it with the Sony A8H OLED TV. The passthrough HDMI worked great and allowed me to connect the Apple TV directly to the sound bar. I admit that I had to play the settings to get a great sound, and I’m very pleased with what resulted. But there’s one bug I can’t get around (or at least, I haven’t yet)—Dialogue volume. Basically, the dialogue is barely above a whisper unless I crank up the volume. When I do I’m blasted out in action scenes. It’s as though there is not mid range strength. Now, I’m watching with the remote in my hand…not a good, relaxing experience. For just regular watching and listening to music the bar performs very well. It replaces an expensive Bose Cinemate and honestly, I was surprised by the sound and really pleased with this bar…until I watched a movie and discovered the dreaded Lost Dialogue problem. Nevertheless, I’m still looking for a solution. And “yes” dear Sony person—I’ve tried menu options and pressed all the buttons multiple times. I’ve researched the issue on line, too. Still, hopeful. But docking 1 star. I’ll revise if I figure this out.

This product has been awesome. It offers everything I wanted from the sound aspect. It sounds great. It’s easy to use, well developed, and the perfect size.

I was looking for a mid range sony sound bar to pair with the sony 4k I was planning to purchase at the same time from best buy for black Friday. My I planned on buying the xbr800h - this is a dolby altmos capable TV, so I was looking for something to leverage that. I also did not necessarily want rear channel wireless speakers that required more cords to plug for power - so this sound bar made sense for me on a few levels. The sounds fills my moderately sized theater room good, but I would not say great. The base is capable, but not too over the top. I like that it has auto bravia sync capabilities, so it automatically works with my tv and its remote. One very annoying issue I had when setting it up was that fact that my sony TV did not recognize this sound bar using the HDMI ARC port. I tried every which way and was about to call sony cust support, but on a whim changed out the HDMI cable that came with the sound bar with a higher quality one I bought with my TV and sound bar purchase (I was not sure on length/distance of my peripherals so I wanted to be prepared) - low and behold my TV automatically synced up with the sound bar after that. I saw one or two other reviews indicating this issue - I would suggest sony look at the quality of the HDMI cables as there is no reason for a $30 cable to cause havoc with a $1,000 TV and a $400 sound bar. Otherwise - I am very happy with it.

Reading others' reviews of this product left my expectations low, as this is on the low end of Sony's 3.1 channel line of soundbars. But considering the only sound output I was getting before was from my LG's little TV speakers, this combo is amazing. Pairing with our new X950H was a breeze. The TV also paired all of its inputs with the soundbar so switching between streaming, cable and video games is seamless. The remote it came with can permanently stay in its drawer, no need to toggle inputs. Not sure if an extra $300 would be worth it for the next level up, but at half the cost we couldn't be more pleased.

Okay I purchased this earlier in the month during Prime Day, so the purchases price was feasible. After messing around with it for a couple of hours, the jury is out. It is growing on me as I tailor the sound to my liking. I compared the sound to my older Samsung 2.1 sound bar. It puts out some serious base and I love it. This one here though... I will give it a chance for the next few days. The sound is crisp. That much I will say. I am getting usd to the Vertical Surrround Engine and surround technology. I am listening to Sirius XM and the base is being heard nicely now. Does it have that theatre sound I was so hoping for? I don't know. Best Buy implored me to go with a Sony product to pair with my Sony Bravia. So it makes sense. The Samsung equivalent wasn't on sale surprisingly. The base needs to come through man. If you are spending some decent money, you want that boombastic sound. Not 100% satisfied yet, but it was on sale. Shrug

Always check the clearance section. I got a great deal and movies are sounding amazing now. The Bass is rediculous!

This has really good sound and works like a charm with a Sony TV. That being said, every time I turn on the Roku I have to go into the settings on the TV to change the sound from TV to external device. It's a real pain having to do this. I've followed all the directions on the Roku with no luck. Not the end of the world just a big inconvenience.

Good soundbar but wish it had on screen display. Sounds great. Pairing sub was a little more difficult than I expected.

Absolutely love this. The surrounds sounds it has is crazy crystal clear and the base is crazy. And reasonably priced as well.

Very easy setup. Connected via HDMI/ARC port. No need for subtitles or very loud sound just to hear speech. The IE feature is nice for us because our room is wide open, so this gives best surround without adding separate speakers. The sub separate volume is also easily adjustable and makes a big difference. Compared to sonos mid price and this is better. Added to Sony TV with screen sound and this is way better.
