I thought how can I have gone this long relying on only tv speakers! It adds a lot of sound to movies and reg tv shows. Great product Sony

But ended up going with this one, the sub is actually really powerful. Specially if your listening to music and put the equalizer on bass boost. I use it more to watch shows and movies tho and its definitely worth the $200

Nice Sound, Lack Punch

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a good sound bar but it lacks the punch I like in the bass (watching Transformers and when the bombs hits the ground, it's fairly quiet, no pounding sound or rumble.) It works well for the small space I have it it (12×25 long room.) It's nearly invisible in front of my 75in Sony television but the spacial surround is good. The biggest problem is you can't add rear speakers nor an extra sub. I'll likely move it to another space in my home and purchase one with rear speakers later

When the input source does not contain much bass sound, such as in TV programs, the bass sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. SW +/– does not work when the subwoofer is not connected.

great value to the sound quality

We use the old 55inch LED TV. I’ve been using this Sony wireless 350watts speakers with wireless sub and i find it as a great value to the sound quality and the overall experience...... But my kids lost the remote and its been pain to turn it iff or on. It doesn’t auto turn off either. Not a big deal.

Good for the Money

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For $200, it gets 5 stars, but here’s why I deducted two: First things first, I like to know what materials are the speakers made off, so I know if I am drilling into the wall, these will last for a while. How many woofers/twitters are exactly in there? Is the 350W including the subwoofer or just the sound bar? You see where I am going with this? None of these information are published which make me a little nervous about this product. Okay, so let’s talk about sound quality. Of course it’s light years better than a wall mounted Sony X800 TV, no question about that, but the mid range is almost nonexistent. There’s plenty of bass and highs, but subdued mids. It’s actually pretty distracting. Now the good things. It’s pretty easy to hookup via ARC and looks great under my 75” TV. Subwoofer actually works. It’s not going to replace JLAudio, but it is decent for occasional movie watching. Would I buy it again? Yes, because I had limited budget, but if I had the funds, I would get something more professional with listed specifications.
