This sound bar is better than I thought, definitely worth the money. The design is sleek and easy to place anywhere either on the wall or on top of your tv stand. Great buy.

A very inexpensive upgrade to your Home Theater system. Easy to install and setup, typical Sony. Sounds good and the dialogue works very well. The powered subwoofer is wireless which offers great flexibility on placement. But, does need to be near AC outlet to plug in.

For a 2.1 system it sounds pretty good. The bass is fantastic. It's much better sounding than the sony bravia tv it's connected to. Get it on sale and it's worth it. I have the subwoofer connected via Bluetooth and it works great.

The sound in comparison to the TV speakers is amazing, crisp and clear with deep bass sounds (without sounding boosted) I chose this soundbar specifically because the quality of the Sony headphones is the best I have ever heard so I hope this would live up the expectations and it did!

Just bought a Sony 4K Ultra HD TV from Best Buy and the wife said get the Sound Bar too. I wasn’t going to do that but I’m SO glad we did! The sound out of the tv speakers is not very good. Geek Squad came out to deliver, set up and haul off our 17 year old Plasma tv we also bought from Best Buy. This Sound Bar is so worth it! The seperate Bass Subwoofer rocks the house. I can’t have it on if the wife is upstairs trying to sleep! She said she can feel the bass upstairs. It’s easily adjustable for lower bass but I love it maxed at 10. Highly recommend this Sony Sound Bar and Geek Squad service.

I recently purchased the Sony HT-S400 2.1ch Soundbar with a wireless subwoofer, and it has significantly enhanced my home entertainment experience. The sound quality is excellent, with clear highs, detailed mids, and deep, powerful bass from the subwoofer. Setup was quick and easy, thanks to the wireless subwoofer and Bluetooth connectivity. Sounds system is nice quality, nice bass as well! Would definitely recommend this over a previous JBL system that didn’t last more than a year.

Purchased with my new Sony Bravia 65"XR90L TV one month ago. It was an upgrade from my Sony -HT-S350 model and I immediately heard the difference in power and bass. A perfect combination of excellent performance and enjoyment!

Beautiful sound, subwoofer can vary between too strong and not enough, minimalist remote and the products are extremely easy to set up and sync.

Sleek and value packed soundbar with great sound. Since you don't have a center channel, it does some tricks to simulate one and boost voices. This works only marginally better than the stereo speakers on your TV. It adds a lot of good bass and is a really great looking speaker set. If you're looking to boost dialogue, keep looking and try to find something that is 3.1 (left, right, center channels AND the .1 is the subwoofer). I ended up getting a 3.1 channel Samsung speaker and that true center channel makes all the difference.
