If you need a flash in an environment where you don't want to carry your bulky flashes, this will work fine. It's not the strongest flash out there, but it doesn't claim to be. The winning feature of this flash is the compact size. The only gripe I have is the lack of a power button. It turns on when you lift it, which is fine on the camera, but if you want to store it flat, it stays on for a while. Luckily, there's an auto off timer, so that you can store it flat to save space in your bag. Alternatively, you can just take the batteries out, but over time that would put a lot of stress on that plastic battery door.

Bought this external flash for my Sony a7c. Rarely use it cuz the lens I’m using is a sony 35mm 1.8. With a large aperture, i have no trouble using it in less light situation. But just in case, i have this external flash to rely on. Always carry it in my camera bag because of it size.

It’s not as bright as other Sony flash’s but small light and perfectly pairs with the A6400

Sony makes a great product. This glad is not as powerful as my Nikon flash, but it is compact and lightweight.

After reading several online reviews, I bought this unit as an open box item and saved $40 ! Item was in excellent, new condition in original packaging, etc. I have used it on my a6000 and am completely satisfied with the results! This flash is compact and when kept in the closed position, fits perfectly in my case with the camera, and 3 lenses. No issues from me with this item, would recommend this item as a step up from the built in flash on the camera.

A key point of an A6300 is small and light. Perfect lens for close in. Great bounce feature. Really nice color rendition.

This flash is very compact, that is the main reason I purchased it for my Sony A6000, it works very well.

Purchased flash for use with my Sony A6000. Flash works well for most setting. Noted in some instances flash would over expose images for an over bright subject. Adjusting the distance between subject camera settings helped to even out the flash light . However, flash is still a good addition to the camera in low light settings.

The battery situation is annoying and they run out fast, but it gives a nice warm light.

Excelente I love how easy it is to assemble and disassemble. Putting in the batteries is quick.

This is a very small flash and very portable. There is no reason not to have an additional source of light to fill in a pinch. It performs very well and gives a good balanced light within a short distance. You can also bounce the light which is very effective when need an additional light to remove facial shadows.

It’s good for me but I also not used it in the dark

Needed a flash in a pinch and wasn't ready to pony up $300+ for the nicer, more featured Sony flash for my A7ii. This unit does exactly what it's supposed to, but I do wish it had an on/off switch rather than flipping it up and down to power it up.

I use this flash on a Sony Nex 6. Whether using a wide angle lens or the 55-210mm lens this flash works extremely well. Set it to bounce or straight it gives the right amount of light to shoot in a dimly lit room.

Came in handy before an event, highly needed. Ive since upgraded, but it stays nearby as a close backup.
