This is an interesting concept, but one that doesn’t seem like was taken to the point of perfection. There are a lot of hiccups with this system. After you get it set up (a time-consuming process considering the updates you have to do), you then have to know to go in to your PS5 and turn on “allow remote play” and “stay connected to the internet” in order for this to work. There’s really no directions for all of this—I had to Google troubleshooting measures to figure this out. Once you finally get it all set up, things work OK most of the time. However, every so often, the picture will momentarily scramble and freeze, and if you’re at a critical point in your game, it can really mess up your gameplay. I have the highest speed internet my cable system offers, so it’s not a problem with my connection. It just sort of feels like this went to market when it was “almost” ready for release. When it’s working, it works well, but If these freeze-ups are causing me lives in my game, I’d rather just wait and play on my PS5 and large monitor.

Great buy! Now I can sit next to my husband and son while they play at night and were all on the couch lol or my son enjoys playing it in the car on the way to school. No issues and easy set up!

I use it more than I though I would. The latency I get is not good enough for FPS like COD however it is great for other games. I’ve used it both in the house and out the house. And it works. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a browser, so far I havent find a way to conect to a hotel wifi when they use the captive portal page. It works using the phone’s hotspot. So far im happy with it

I have loved this device even though i have to use it on WiFi, when im at home and i can’t use the tv i can just use the portal to play games and its so much better than using the app on my tablet. I really like this device.

I love everything about the PlayStation 5 portal. I enjoy gaming comfortable on my portal anywhere, because sitting in front of my tv all the time in order to play my game kind of sucks so im Sony came up with their brilliant ideas usual. I also want to say bestbuy is the best site to order electronics and etc.

I love that I can just pick it up and play my PlayStation even if someone else is watching the TV or playing something else on the TV it works great it has a wonderful picture. Love it.

Definitely better than using phone controller like backbone one. The controls and ergonomic is pretty much identical to holding dualsense controller. I am using ax 3000 router with 300mbps spectrum connection, I barely notice any frame drops at all. BUT, i wish it was an OLED screen though, come on sony!

This going works great if you have good wifi. I know this has been beaten to death. This is a very niche item. I use it when my wife is watching the TV that my PS5 is connected to. Outside the house it's useless. Even connected to the hot spot on my phone with a great signal.

Great PS5 accessory! Must have if the TV your PS5 is connected to is shared. Love being able to play games like Baldurs Gate 3 from anywhere in my house. Just make sure you have a strong and consistent internet connection. Device is comfortable to use and feels well built. A bit annoying that there isn’t Bluetooth capability but there is a standard headphone jack.

Very useful when I want to play too notch games and my wife is watching TV. Smooth interface and no lag.

Great buy for the price. Now my kids can play while we watch movies and take it on the go.

The prices isn’t amazing for great console and great software

I given my boyfriend this as a gift and he loves it, we can take it on the go especially when traveling.

I love the PlayStation portable it is an amazing back up for going on trips or when far from home and want to get a little gaming in !!

I love the PS Portal. I am able to play games throughout the house while my kids are watching TV or I want to hang in the other room with my dog. I haven’t used it in the rode het, but it has been great throughout my home. The screen is beautiful, no lad and so far a great time.

Great handheld device. Love the ease of connection and playing my games without having to tie up the tv the battery last a long time. As long as you have a great internet connection there isnt any lag to it and it runs very smooth. So happy that I made the purchase. As i use it more than my actual ps5 now.

Mortar so good. Took it with me on vacation to Aruba and I didn’t have a strong enough WiFi connection to play it. But at home it a beast. I thought about returning it but I won’t.
