The ability to play your PS5 from just about anywhere is a game changer. Provided you have a good wi-fi at home, or even away the PlayStation Portal exceeded my expectations. It works great with just about every game. There is a little bit of input lag on Call of Duty MWIII but that was expected.

Handset is good grandson said it’s what he wanted no problem we replace to get a new one

I used it at home and away from home, and it works great. I played several hours of FF7 remake and had minimal streaming issues. If Sony releases PSnow/Plus integration, it will be the cherry on top. Pros - Comfortable to hold - Large screen - Haptic feedback - 3.5mm audio jack Cons - battery life - lack of Bluetooth

The layout and and how it plays is unbelievable i absolutely love this device and would definitely recommend to anyone else who sis a gamer like me.

Works like it says. Need to have good wifi connection and have the ps5 conmected to LAN and works perfectly fine. You cant use it with public wifis such as hotels where you have to sign in separately on web. The device itself feels light and comfortable to use for long periods of time. Overall happy with the purchase

Absolutely fantastic. A piece of hardware if you want to lounge around or not take up valuable TV space.

I bought an open box excellent condition and it didn't even look like it had been used. The only downside is the Portal has to be on the same network as the PS5 but if you only have on TV it allows you to play without taking up the TV.

Great device when you want to game on the go provided that you’re on a stable wifi connection. It may not be for everyone but it does its job for me. Price-wise, it should have been around $150. Do wish that Sony comes out with an upgraded standalone version that doesn’t require streaming from the ps5.

This device is AMAZING! Was hesitant about purchasing one of these at first. Did some research and made absolute sure that my internet connection had the juice for playing games on it. Everything about this purchase makes me happy! PS5 games in bed…c’mon!

When the backbone came out I was so excited but it didnt give me the experience that I was looking for. Today I can say with confidence that the portal does, controls and quality are great. As long as you’re aware of what is that you’re buying and getting with the portal it’s the best option for remote play, hands down.

It’s basically a controller. There are definitely cheaper options! But worth the $100 difference from its counterparts

Considered reviewing this as either 3 or 4 stars. Pros Grip: controls feel amazing. It's really like having a screen build into the Dual Sense. Screen: I don't believe it's OLED, but games still look spectacular and POP on this massive big screen. Sound: Sounds good, too. Works well with my new Elite PS headset or just running speakers. Connecting: Firstly, I have no idea if I can actually get this to connect to my PS5 if I'm traveling, so I'm reluctant to do so until I get a case for it. I mostly bought this device so I could play PS5 games while my kids take over the tv. Within my network, it usually works great, though sometimes I need to restart the device and/or the PS5 if it's demonstrating unplayable lag.

I bought this for my daughter who plays a lot of Fortnite and hogs the livingroom TV. Now she can play in her room with zero lag. This system has a great screen, it connects seamlessly, and we have even used it at relatives homes (with strong wifi) to play remotely! For what it does, this portal is great!

Definitely a must have ! I'm so glad they came out with this. The original PSP was amazing , I believe it came out before it's time. This is an absolute upgrade. My whole family loves everything about it. Very easy to navigate! Best buy was amazing at helping me place the order and get it to me fast!
