Apparently, that's very common and Playstation hasn't addressed it. Even worse, they make you pay for shipping when you make a warranty claim.

We purchased so both my sons could play together but found out that isn't possible without paying an additional $160/year subscription. Returned and purchased an additional PS5.

Good item if you have good wifi

Other than that I enjoy playing in other rooms of my house without being stuck to one room. The WiFi is the key to successful game play it will lag on sports games and timing it key with those games.

Great PS5 Accessory to Free Up the Tv

It frees up the living room tv, so my wife can watch her shown while I can finish exploring a dungeon in Dragon’s Dogma 2 or finish a mission on Helldivers. Some games like the next gen Fallout 4 update have issues but I’ve had great results with most games.
