I ordered this for my husband for Christmas and it came defective, the right analog stick is not working. I called Best Buy and they would only offer a refund no replacement.

PlayStation Portal: The Ultimate Dad Station for B

I recently got the PlayStation Portal, which I lovingly call the "Dad Station" because it allows me, a father of three, more time to play games. The system is very comfortable to hold, making long gaming sessions enjoyable. Setting it up was a breeze, and the quality of both the sound and graphics is impressive. There's some slight lag, but it largely depends on your connection. Since my system is hardwired, lag is rare. Overall, the PlayStation Portal is a fantastic addition to my gaming setup.

First off: unless BB already removed them - ignore the bad reviews from people who don't know what the actual function of a product *specific* review is. These people didn't research the portal and also don't know how release day purchases go for highly in-demand items. A review of a product isn't to complain about availability, its to critique the product itself.
Onto the portal itself. It's an amazing add on to the PS5. You could pay $100 for the backbone and use your phone OR pay $200 for a sony product with a large screen and awesome controller connected to it - designed for a single purpose. I'm REALLY enjoying it.
For the price, you have to expect corners to be cut. No onboard storage, no streaming/cloud gaming, no local play, etc. I'm betting future updates will only make this thing better.
