Got it for my wife for Christmas she was yet to play on it but my son have he plays on it daily and love it

So fun to have with the PlayStation 5. Makes playing away a breeze

Very fun addition for PS5 owners! It’s nice being able to use my TV for movies while still enjoying my favorite games on the couch! Would be great if Sony would make a standalone hand held, but this gets the job done for now. As always, bestbuy is great to work with.

I would like more battery, its very comfort when i play, with the steam games is the best

Love this is was a awesome buy for my son now on long road trips or being out of town he still play his favorite games even away from home.

It’s good at what it does. It allows you to play games on your PS5 when you’re not sitting in front of the TV next to your PS5. (Yes you NEED a PS5 also to use this). My biggest gripe, it does NOT support Bluetooth headphones. Hope you have an old RCA headphone or the new proprietary headphone / earbuds from Sony. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any meaningful lag, but I have been playing this in my house, so, make what you will of that. Oh, and I was unable to edit how the touch screen works, I have to tap it twice for it to operate the Touch Bar on the PS5 controller. I would have loved to change it to one touch, maybe I’m missing something. Final thoughts, if you’re a tech junky like me, I recommend getting it, otherwise, don’t. Wait for something that can play games natively and also support PS Remote, like the PS Vita that had its own games and it also let me remotely connect to the PS4 to play games when I was away from home.

I love it, only issue is connection to my PlayStation at times but I end up uses the cloud if I’m having connection issues

I've been on the fence about the PlayStation Portal since it was announced, but after picking one up from Best Buy, I can confidently say it's one of the best gaming accessories I've bought in a long time. This is a must-have for any PS5 owner who shares a TV or just wants to game without being tied to the screen.

Originally, it was a remote play device, but with a recent update, it allows you to stream games from Sony (with a premium subscription), which is pretty cool. The games catalog is quite extensive, featuring some top titles. Unfortunately, I found myself not playing it much because the latency that was occasionally noticeable, and the quality would drop. Even when it worked well, I had to stay fairly close to my router, and even then there were occasional hiccups. Maybe my internet wasn’t good enough (500 Mbps).

The portal has excellent ergonomics and haptics with the spotty nature of fluctuating wireless signals. For a device that costs 150-200 dollars less than an entire PS5, it really should be a 1080p HDR oled panel that is able to run PS5 games natively, but instead what we are getting is a decent remote streaming device that requires ownership(and power-on) from a network-connected PS5. Your mileage may vary, but in my 5 or so hours with the device, i had no disconnects, although i most certainly experienced audio crackle, streaming artifacts(at 60fps) and severe input lag in the 100’s of milliseconds. Remote play and cloud gaming simply isnt ready for prime time, but overall this device does what it has set out to do, and thats provide remote playability of PS5 games when a direct tv connection isn’t immediately available.

Very useful, and comes in handy while I'm away from home but i still can enjoy gaming
