Works perfect around the house, i honestly dont take it out but around the house this thing rules, its very comfortable to hold, the screen is impressive very happy with this purchase

Its an excellent remote player. I like it better than using my phone or tablet. Sony deciding not to add bluetooth capabilities is a head scratcher but there are ways around it. The screen is vibrant and large enough to enjoy gaming on the go. I've used this with my hotspot and other wifi away from home and aslong as the wifi is strong enough it works great with minor frame drops. Battery life is decent and lasts longer with some minor tweaks to settings. Pricing is where it should be. Overall a great item that does what its intended to do very well, with some minor issues that are easily remedied.

Having little to no time to myself and not being able to get to my man cave the Portal gives me a chance to game from time to time. I hardly notice any difference in graphics and the haptics are just as good as the PS5 controller. The only drawback is the reliance of WiFi, but I knew that going in. There are times when it is very laggy. Also, some spots in my house don’t have great WiFi connectivity. As long as you have a strong WiFi network. You shouldn’t have any problems

Awesome device for playing when you have a family and the TV might not always be available. Plays well, although online play does not play too well, single player games play as good as they should. Definitely recommend if you have to make time to play with how busy life can get.

Build quality is fantastic, and the screen is gorgeous. The connectivity to the console is excellent with very rare hiccups, and I’m using a 1gb WiFi FiOs connection for reference. I only play single player games and this device is perfect for games like Ultros, Balatros, FF7 Remake, Ratchet and Clank, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection. I don’t play shooters on this because I prefer a larger screen for that, but im sure others would enjoy it. If you’ve been on the fence, do yourself a favor and get one now that they’re back in stock regularly.

Being able to play while laying down is nice! And the big screen is nice too

If your looking for portable this is not the option you have to use your hotspot to travel with the device but go on YouTube they guide you through everything.I use it for extra remote or if I’m just chilling on my deck outside or just sitting around on couch if I don’t want watch tv or my television being taken over lols .I have my OLED SWITCH THAT I USE,you can travel everywhere without using a hotspot!Playstation bring back the PSP with new tech !!!

I was initially hesitant to purchase the PlayStation Portal after hearing mixed reviews, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance! It’s been a game-changer for me. The convenience of being able to play remotely when I need to be away from my console is unbeatable. The setup was smooth, and the performance has been great for my needs. If you’re looking for flexibility with your PS5 gaming, this is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Good product, could/should be better. No volume and can’t connect to my AirPods. Has to run on WiFi. Too reliable on my PS5. Love the screen, fun to play on but don’t think I’ll be keeping it.

the playstation portal is an amazing handheld if you alreay own a ps5 it let your streem you games with almost no lag and controller feels exactly like a dualsense perfect for playing anywhere.

I absolutely love my portal. As a dad who still likes to game I can take this around the house with me or put a game on pause while I change a diaper. As a more serious gamer I can lay in bed with my wife while I rid the galaxy of bots and bugs. The portal delivers on the ergonomics you love about your ps5 controller while offering the versatility of a Nintendo switch.. my only gripe is that I needed an adapter to pair my Sony Bluetooth headphones to my Sony PlayStation portal..why not build that in? Oh so they can make an extra 200$ on headphones lol that’s alright I’ll deal with it

Perfect for gaming at home while the family uses the TV. The device is the perfect add on for the core ps5 gamer who has to share tv with the family or roommates. Big screen, full style controller with rumble and haptics, portable with good battery. The best experience is achieved by ensuring you have a great wifi router (don’t use the ones that come with your ISP, get a high quality router/mesh network) and your ps5 plugged in via Ethernet. This is will Ensure minimal lag across your home. It’s becoming my favorite way to play. Wife loves that I can play in the bedroom while she sleeps or watches tv. No negatives this far. Hope they make them in different colors!

I love it so far. I don't have the best internet connection and it works great. 1st Person Shooter games like Call of Duty are hard to play on it, but any other game like Fortnite, FIFA, and 3rd Person RPG works perfectly fine. Yes, this is basically a share screen for your ps5 console, and Yes you need a PS5 console and wifi to use it, otherwise the portal is useless. Only downside if this is for a household with multiple ps accounts, it will be a negative. The portal can only support one account, and won’t let you switch accounts on it.

I really like this item. Holds well in the hands. Love the 1080p 8" screen. This is perfect when my kids want to watch TV and I want to play the PlayStation. I love it.

Solid remote play device. Make sure you have good wifi connection and properly adjust PS5 settings to align with the device capabilities.
