Connectivity isn’t the best through the device itself but overall it’s a great concept and love how Sony added the cloud streaming option now but you still need internet requirements for both cloud streaming and console mirroring.

Just like the steam deck opened up possibilities for me to play games in my steam collection which I have not touched in a long time, so did this beautiful device. Yes I was disappointed when they first announced it that I would not be able to do cloud streaming onto it without a ps5, but despite that, I am thoroughly enjoying the freedom this gives to play wherever and whenever I want around the house. Been on a MHW binge with all the rage after Wilds announcement. What a blast.

Amazing product! It’s everything I asked for and then some! This product allows me to play from my bed or anywhere else on a strong wifi connection! For example I am in NY and my PS5 is on at my house in Boston! Nifty and convenient product on the go. Best Buy was able to help me in tremendous ways and the easiest way. I really enjoy using this, especially when the TV is in use by other family members. I'm a dad, and being able to play PS5 handheld is great when anyone else wants to use the TV. I wouldn't use it to play frame dependent games like Street Fighter 6 due to input lag, but it's great for something like Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, where timing doesn't need to be perfect. 8/10 definitely recommend it to parents that want to play PS5 and share the TV.

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he’s been hooked! This little portable PlayStation is so easy to set up and the PlayStation console can be in rest mode while he plays on the go. Super affordable and makes game time with my man super easy!

After about two months of waiting i was finally able to track one of these down! And I absolutely love it not having to be in my office to catch up on some games is awesome! And yeah i could've gotten a backbone sure but that ties up my phone , this is dedicated remote play which made ot easier to connect, set up, and get right to gaming! The lack of support for earbuds beyond the sony ones is a bit of a let down but i have it on low (its gets pretty loud) and go from there!

Great if you just don’t want to sit in one place for your gaming or if some one else wants to use the tv.

I think its awesome now that you can stream games. Allows anyone with or without a PS5 to enjoy games through this device. Strong internet is a must so it wont work on an Airplane yet. But for $200 and a subscription and your ready to game.

PS Portal was a great purchase. When my family is using the TV in the family room I can still play my PS5. Have taken it to other places outside my home and connected via the hotspot on my phone. It use to disconnect while in the house sometimes, but I connected my PS5 directly to the router instead of via wifi and the portal hasn't lost connection once since then. Would recommend if your on the fence about purchasing. Wish Sony offered an official case for it though.

Its a nice big high def screen that is plenty bright. Its connectivity is excellent and it makes playing games anywhere in the house convenient. Having kids and a wife, sometimes the tv isnt available so this makes a good alternatives.

This thing is awesome! It has a screen with excellent graphics and the sound quality is amazing. You can connect your PlayStation and play your games on this handheld device. It’s the perfect size and the battery life is great!

Handling great my nephew hasn't put it down since we got the thing.

The best part about this device is its form factor. The screen is large and quality, the controller is easy and comfy to hold. Connection issues are frustrating at first, but make sure you PS5 is wired to your modem and that solves most problems.

Now that Sony has unlocked this to be able to connect from outside your home network (as long as you have good enough internet) makes this portal alot more usable and enjoyable for traveling.

I get that the Portal is somewhat divisive but I kind of like it. I get to keep on playing when my girlfriend wants to use the TV and that's all I really want it for. I personally wouldn't use it for anything competitive (EAFC for me) or any game that requires quick and precise movement (any FromSoftware games) but it works well for anything else.

Works perfectly for what it should. Makes gaming on the go a true experience

Easy to set up and use. No connection issues, which i was worried about. Its greta to be able to lay in bed and still game. Highly recommend.
