Well unfortunately my left analog stick went out a couple weeks ago so there's that! Haven't even gotten a good year out of it yet. Ridiculous

Definitely not worth it, doesn't connect right away to the ps5 and im in the same room as my wifi and ps5. Lagging and delays. Only can play ps5 games. If u have an external hard drive on ps5 with ps4 games...u wont be able to play them on portal.

I assume that this portable would be nice for certain people, just not for me. I dont like that it depends on your ps5 instead of being a stand alone device.

Internet connectivity is awful. I started playing after setting up and could not pass 5 minutes without the system disconnecting from the wifi even though I was sitting next to the router. I give it 2 stars because its a great concept for when wifey is watching tv and you wanna sit next to her and play your game.

It doesn’t work well. My ps5 is connected diré in to my router and it still lagged to much to play simple signal player games it was completely useless when playing any multiplayer games very disappointing

Beware of Purchase an Open Box from Best Buy

I bought an open box marked as it was the first available unit since I’ve been checking daily since November. The product was marked as excellent condition at that price point. The PS Portal arrived with a broken right stick making it useless. Obviously they aren’t testing properly before charging their customers for the highest tier of quality and condition. I went into the store in hopes I could get out at the top of their line for a replacement. They said they couldn’t do anything, call corporate. I called Best Buy corporate who couldn’t help me either and at one point they advised I check with their competitors then list three of them. No offers to help or compensation for their false advertisement/quality escape, but just keep checking. I cannot review an operational unit, but can recommend customers not to purchase an open box item from Best Buy.

I'm bitterly disappointed with my experience with the PlayStation Portable. What a letdown! The device's WiFi connectivity is a joke. It refused to connect to my phone's hotspot, and to make matters worse, it couldn't even detect the hotel's WiFi network because it lacks a browser to enter the necessary login credentials!
The PS Portable’s inability to adapt to modern WiFi networks makes it a paperweight. I was looking forward to playing games on the go, but this device's antiquated tech turned it into a frustrating experience. The lack of a browser is a glaring oversight, making it useless in many situations.
Unless you're looking for a dust collector, I'd advise against wasting your money on this relic. Sony should have done better. What a horrible experience!

Takes forever to set up and then doesn’t work smoothly. I bought to play while I recovered in the hospital and it was never a smooth process to just turn on and play. Honestly for the price it should work by just signing in online and should not have to be paired to the ps5. I’m returning it today as I don’t see the point of this setup and requires too many steps just to get playing.

Not worth it unless you plan keeping your ps5 on 24/7 and have wifi for the portal itself. Poor connection, easy to get disconnected. Not worth $200, $50 max

Screen is very dark, can only play when playstation is on rest mode, even with wired connection on ps5 and good wifi on the portal i was lagging, very minimal effort by sony

I'll be honest. Its ok. It's not too bad. It lags out every now and then. I don't think its worth 200 for it. Price should be at least 80-90 bucks. Sony is tripping for that. To me it's basically a better version of the backbone.
