This is perfect for what I need it for. I am a dad who has no access to the main tv anymore. I got fiber optic internet and 5g internet as backup at home. It's really slow on 5g. When doing fiber, it does lag at times and you will die online but it's not that bad.

Very cool item. Stream all things from your PS5. I have had good luck with my PS5 wired to my home network. Only drawback so far is no Bluetooth headphone option. Has to be wired or have to have Sony's pulse headphone for a wireless audio. So far so good.

I like it but it does have its limitations for sure.

This a great for on the go or in the house if someone needs the TV the screen quality is amazing along with the haptic triggers. Just wish it had more OG psp feature like inserting a game card because remote is sometimes difficult to connect to

This is an excellent device. Allows me to continue playing my games when the family takes over the tv. It’s the perfect weight and the grips are just like the controller which provides a seamless experience between console and handheld.

Really cool device for playing your PS5 in another room not on your TV. Any issues you may experience with blurry/choppiness is either wifi related or you need to close out of your game/re-open it for it to adjust to the Portal.

It was gifted to me and I used it for a few weeks before abandoning it due to internet connection issues. My internet works completely fine for my other devices but can't maintain a decent connection for more than a few minutes with this thing. Definitely do not recommend to anyone except maybe those with very high speed internet.

I love the ability to game ANYWHERE in my house. Even in a 4000sqft house, my wifi is still strong enough to give a smooth connection. I leave it mostly on my night stand and game for a hour before bed.

The PS Portal offers a polished gaming experience but has significant limitations that make it less appealing for households with multiple gamers.
Strengths:
The device delivers stunning visuals with sharp graphics and smooth gameplay. Connectivity over Wi-Fi is reliable, making it an excellent tool for playing your PS5 games remotely. The hardware feels premium, and it’s great for gaming on the go or away from the main console.
Weaknesses:
However, the inability to switch between user profiles is a major flaw. In a family setting where multiple people share a PS5, this limitation makes the device far less versatile. Each person would need their own Portal to play on their account, which isn’t practical or affordable for most families.
If you’re a solo gamer, the PS Portal might be perfect for you. But for families, this device falls short of expectations. Hopefully, future updates can address this key limitation.
