Awesome way to game while my kids are using the TV! No doubt takes credit for finishing my first game of the year. Open box seriously seemed brand new. Was amazed by the new update allowing cloud streaming for PS+ Premium member

Streaming issues are there even with decent Internet. I love the ergonomics and controls if the system. Being a streaming system hurts it. I've had worse play remote playing my ps5 as compared to the ps plus streaming beta. If you don't have the Internet didn't buy this. I currently have spectrum and still stutters and disconnects.

Good around the house, no connection issues. Probably wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have good WiFi though. There were too many software updates when you first use it, but after that no issues.

Works as intended but your experience is only as good as your wifi connection...

My husband is a gamer, so this was perfect for those long trips!!!

I was expecting more from this. But it is a device that basically frees up the tv that the console is connected to.

Thourally enjoying remote play with the portal. With the upgrades tonits cloud streaming, its truly a worthwhile device.

However, it doesn’t attempt to be everything (and that’s both its strength and its limitation). Because it’s heavily dependent on network conditions and the PS5 remains the “engine”, you’ll only get the best experience if your infrastructure is up to scratch. So, if you’re a PS5 user, you have a good home network, and you frequently find yourself wanting to play away from the TV — go for it. But if you were hoping for a full handheld console alternative to the PS5, you might be underwhelmed.

Love the ability to use it anywhere. Only problem is some connection stability issues depending on your home WiFi strength. Also wish there’s more options for cloud gaming.

I finally got my hands on one and I can’t put it down! Having my PlayStation on the go with me is DEFINITELY a plus. Doctor’s appointments, my workplace and even on flights! Wherever there’s WiFi, my Portal and I will be there!

Product is great, feels good in your hands and is surprisingly fast.

If you already have a Steam Deck, Ally, or any handheld, you're better off using Chiaki or Remote Play. You're only streaming at 15mbps max. Any motion, especially on the low quality LCD the portal is using, is gonna look like a smeary mess. Using Chiaki on my Steam Deck Oled, I can bump up the quality to 30mbps with roughly 2-5ms of input latency just like the Portal.
