Great addition to the action camera for viewing and control also waterproof a plus but wont work under water.

Bought this in bundle with the SONY Action Cam. This unit can link to 5 AS1000V cameras and control them by WiFi. The Cameras are much less $ than GoPro, so invest in one bundle and add cameras. This is water resistant operation to 10 feet - when camera is under water AND remote is under water - the connection survives to operate at least a couple of feet apart. More testing required.

Inconspicuous way to not only control but to review the image.

Excellent experience to me so far. I use it to turn my action cam recording on/off while on an auto race track. Works fine. Better than using my phone app. View is acceptable. More reliable than the phone app too.

I got this for a friend. I do not know if the battery life is good, but it works perfectly and is really comfortable to wear. This is a very good product that fills a need for this action camera.

it would be better if battery life last longer than 2 hrs continuous play

I really like the Sony action cams. Just hate that there's no way to see what you're filming other than the phone app. The live remote is a great way to see what you're filming. Granted, it should require an additional purchase but it does the trick for a reasonable price.

It's ok but not my type of gadget. I ended up switching to the GoPro instead

Works extremely well for the Sony Action Cam. Love strapping the camera to a grandkid and watching them run around

It wears on your wrist and easily accessible when you wish to capture your adventure video footage.

Hubby likes toys like this.. He loves being able to start and stop the recording without touching the camera so he doesn't loose focus. It also is great when you mount it on the car because you dont have to stop to make adjustments.

Would really liked to have it worked on my boat with the Live view remote but after trying to get it to work for hours I called sony & they told me that I need wi Fi to make it work. They said at the store it makes it's Own Wi Fi network . Guess what return

It is nice to have, but using a phone will provide you with better imagery. It was not that expensive as an add on to the package, so I picked it up. Often I use things for a year or so, and then I upgrade to the next best thing. So I figured, I might as well have the whole deal. That way there will be more value to the package in the end.
