Good Battery

Charge has been sufficient for several hundred images. This original Sony battery is expensive compared to other cheaper options, but due to dependability, and service life, they are worth the additional $$$.

A necessity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Major improvement in the "Z" battery used for the a7rIII vs the "W" battery used in prior generation noted for their short battery life. The good news is that never had a fresh battery change mandated during a shoot like routinely happened with the "W" in the a7rII, but is always good to have a spare. When you see the other one low before going on a shoot, put a fresh one in and know won't need a backup as the other one is in the charger. While more expensive than generic...you only need one and assured that will support the electronics in the camera without false readings. Stick with Sony.

Sony Elevates their game with this battery

Not only economical matched with the tremendous burst speeds of either the A7Riv or the A9ii, the battery lasts longer than previous models such as the NP-FW50 (1020mAh) compared to the 2280mAh for the NP-FW100. Since you're out in the field you never leave without at least 3 or 4 fully charged FW50 batteries, but with the Battery Grip, I have 2 of the FW100 in the camera and ready to take me through at least a day of steady shooting

Great card fast and lots of storage

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always have extra batteries and extra large storage high end cards and I have high end camera so I feel safe staying with the sony brand batteries never had a battery fail or damage a camera I have done a lot of recharging of the battery I work 5 days a week for years and all my sony batteries are working like new after many recharges I love the new longer life batteries and sony cameras I have switched all my sony cameras so I can work with these new batteries LOVE the longer battery time

As nothing is more reliable to use in everyday situation. Will order more if needed. Highly recommend over aftermarket batteries
