    Coming from the old np-fw50, this is much better, I know it's pricey for a battery, but last just as long as 3 of the old ones. I could of gone generic but you never know with firmware updates, better to be safe than sorry !

    It sure is pricey, but it's the most reliable battery for my Sony A7S III camera. When I'm on a shoot, I always take a few of these NP-FZ100 batteries with me because I know if my V-mount batteries or battery bank aren't working, then I can always depends on these batteries. The only aftermarket batteries that comes close to these in term of capacity is the Watson batteries, but I constantly getting the battery error message after the latest firmware update.

    Don't cheap out on batteries. When it's hot and you've been shooting all day the last thing you need is for your battery to crap out.

    Lose these batteries. Last and long time and super reliable. I would never use third party batteries on such expensive cameras and you shouldn’t either.

    It is an original battery works well with my camera. Why original? The lifespan is longer. It can be trusted because it bears the name, "sony." It is a great battery.

    Genuinely surprised by the longevity of this battery. I do not have hard statistics, but I believe that the battery gave me a minimum of an additional half hour of shooting video. I was also able to shoot a full day and evening of stills at a music festival without swapping out the battery. I'm impressed.

    On my Sony a7R5 with the Sony NP-FZ100 battery I recorded six clips totaling almost three hours of 4k video so let's just take a second to appreciate how amazing this battery is and Sony's done a great job with it. The NP-FZ100 battery is amazing and when it comes to powering my expensive equipment, I like to have quality power.

    After using these batteries for about 4 months I think they were worth the purchase. I know there are cheaper options, but I haven’t had the best luck with those.

    I couldn't find the battery on the shelves and racks so I asked an associate and he got it from the inventory in the back. I felt good about my purchase since the battery is packaged in a small cardboard box and BestBuy did the right thing instead of adding wasteful plastic to rack the item. The battery is from Sony and works as expected.

    I currently bought this, its my 5th camera battery for my Sony Alpha Cameras (A7IV, A7III, A7SIII and A1) They hold up a good charge and helps me get through my busy wedding and lifestyle events. I'm also very lucky that this battery works for all 4 OF MY DIFFERENT SONY ALPHA CAMERA BODY. BIGGEST GAME CHANGER especially if you love to take a lot of pictures whether its your profession or as a hobbyist
