He wanted an IPOD and I would not spend that kind of money for someone so young. I looked around for a mid grade MP3 player. I found this one and took a chance. It is a really nice player. You can listen to the radio or songs that you load on it. It was very easy to put music on. The only down fall that I have noticed with this is you cannot charge the battery unless its hooked up to a computer. We traveled for Christmas and the battery was low so we hooked it up to the USB port in the car and it wouldn't charge.

It would have been nice if the instruction page had said to turn it off you have to pause the music first or it just puts it on hold and it's annoying having the headphone jack on the bottom. More space for music would be good too but its expandable with a card. I bought it because it wasn't a touchscreen, I prefer actual buttons on most things.
