I initially purchased these headphones as a last minute purchase before an airplane trip. I looked at the higher end headphones but I didn’t feel that I had enough time to comfortably make a 2-3 hundred dollar purchase. I selected these headphones because they were less expensive. As it turns out, they worked just fine. Because they were relatively inexpensive, I was able to be more relaxed on how they were transported ( they were stuffed in my carryon backpack).

I purchased these headphones for my mother as she was recovering from an injury. I'm a Bose fan, but Sony has a great reputation and I did not want to spend the money necessary to pick-up a set from Bose. These have been a great alternative. She loves them--great sound quality and she's dropped them a number of times without any issues. Very comfortable.

I bought these to travel with and they are comfortable and easy to carry with me on business trips.

These Sony ear phones we at a reasonable price and fit a variety of head sizes.

First let me say that I have been spoiled by some good prior headphones (Bose). These are really good for general use. I wanted them for a flight and week at the beach. Cheaper price so not worried about if I damage them. They did the job just fine. Noise C was fairly good and while not the most comfortable, they gave me a good 3 hours before I had to take them off. I would recommend.

Very comfortable, worked well on the airplane, its not $200 plus headphone, but it's good for the price.

I like the headphones comfort level and sound is decent in quiet settings. The noise cancelling is not great for reducing voices or train noises and since I bought these fro commuting on a train, not so great for that.

Good value for the money I can not use the small tiny ear phones that you need to push into your ears. It hurts and my ears never keep the small earphones in them, they always fall. I was looking for earphones/headphones that I can wear during working out on elliptical a few times a week and over the ears. This set is cost reasonable and stays on my ears.

Bought for my teenager son. He wanted noise cancelling headphones that were comfortable. These Sony headphones fit the bill. He is able to "tune out" the surrounding noise (parents and brother) while enjoying his music and games. He has no complaints about this gift.

I bought these particularly for their noise canceling capability and price. I'm happy to say that these headphones successfully drown-out distracting cafe or deli chatter, and are also extremely comfortable. And as true to Sony, the sound is outstanding.
