I wanted a pair of over the ear headphones mostly to listen to music while walking. These sound very good for only $50 (Didn't want to pay 5 times that for Beats which I'm sure are better, but not 5 times better.) Sound quality is excellent. They also work quite well for hands free phone calls - they block out the ambient noise nicely, which is important for an old guy with aging ears (which I'm sure is at least in part due to listening to lots of loud music over the years!) My only complaint is that although the head strap fit is adjustable, they are just a little too loose and tend to slip off - not a problem with the light walking I do, but, for example, they do tend slip when leaning over to tie shoes, and I suspect this might be a problem for more vigorous exercise such a running. There was no sample to try on at the Best Buy store where I purchased these. But better than too tight, which would probably cause headaches. Overall these work well for me and I would definitely recommend them

I purchased these headphones hoping they would give me the sound of some of the higher priced headphones out there, (most of which you're paying for the name, not the product's quality), and I made the right choice! These are not only comfortable, but the sound quality is awesome!! The bass was surprisingly good, and didn't distort the sound quality at all!

Headphones do a great job of blocking outside noise and the quality of the sound is actually better than expected for the product's price.

Bought for my picky music loving teenage son - really nice clear sound quality, good bass, comfortable on the ears, and quality noise cancellation. Definitely would recommend - we've had several different brands over the years, and Sony has consistently given us very good headphones in this price range.

When the cats barfed on my old pair of over the ear headphones I bought these as a replacement. Comfortable fit, quality sound, nice and bassy, without spending "beats" money on them. Wore them on 6 airplanes recently and the noise cancelling feature was excellent.

I tested out several headphones before buying and these provided noise cancelling as good as or better than more expensive sets. These feel light and comfortable and offer decent performance. Crisp highs and very good bass.

This is the best pair of headphones I've ever had, the bass is clear and powerful and the design is very sleek, I just love them. The price is also very reasonable compared with other mayor brands. "Buy them" you won't regret it.

Like the sound quality especially the clarity. Bass booster technology is pretty neat. I like the comfort these headphones provide even if I have them on for 6 hours. Overall very pleased.

For the longest time, I was stuck on Bose headphones. But due to thin wiring and lost of sound with (2) headsets, I had to let go and move on. I wanted excellent sound quality and base that would feel like I was in the club. Needless to say these Sony Extra Base Over the ear headphones did not disappoint. Why spend $100 when you can get the same sound from quality headphones with durable wiring for under $60.00. Sony is back at the top of my list for sound, quality, style and durability. You won't be disappointed.

I bought these for my 6 year old to use with his iPad. They fit great on him ( being a smaller guy ) and they are also comfortable for adults. The sound quality is awesome!

For being only $60 these headphones are great! They cancel out almost all of the outside noise and have great bass and sound. Pretty durable as well.

I bought these for portability. I have over-the-ear at home. I just can't do earbuds due to sound quality. On-ear is a nice compromise between the two. These headphones are pretty bass-y, but they are designed to be like that. The highs are good enough for me, but some audiophiles may not like that they aren't very flat. I like the cord. It's flat, not round and longer than most budget headphones. They fit great, very comfortable. I'm happy with the purchase.
