Probably the best headphones I have ever had. They are great for working in a band and being able to hear the monitors. Best purchase and investment made.

for this price, it delivers great quality sound. The materials are sturdy as well. they look so nice that I was afraid to scratch them. I only wish it came with a case.

Not the best headphones money can buy, of course, but also not the point. Decent soundstage and frequency response for the $. Good buy for largely casual listening.

I was looking for a set of headphones to use with my iPad Air ,I was in Best Buy buying a tv and passed by the headphone display and saw the Sony MDRXB959AH ,I listened to them and was surprised with how good these sound ,how comfortable they fit and they were on sale @ 49.99 for the pair.I have been using them and have no complaints.

sweet headphones...dont have to shell out big money for fantastic sound...what a jump from earbuds to these headphones...extremely happy!

I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to quality of sound; I just know what I like. These headphones give very a very nice sound and they are very comfortable on my head for extended periods of time. They are made specifically to be higher in the bass range. They are not my ideal choice for this reason. Except for that one feature, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I needed headphones for the plane ride to New Zealand. I tried on the more expensive sony headphones in the store. These were comfortable and not too constricting. I found the beats headphones to be uncomfortable. These are soft and fit around the ears. The sound is good quality. They have a wire so i never have to charge them. Fell asleep with them on.

These headphones cancel out airport noise Airflite noise and babies around you! The quality of music that it plays is outstanding!

Unlike other headphone specs, when Sony states bass output of 3Hz, they mean it. Best headphones ever. Very comfortable too.

Headphones are just what we were looking for! Good Bass quality, cancel enough noise while working out at the gym to stay focused on the task.

I really enjoy these Sony "on-ear" headset especially when traveling on and airplane. They eliminate a lot of external noise.

Would easily recommend over a three hundred dollar set of beats headphones which they replaced for about a third the price.

These headphones were a gift for my son. He loves the bass level and has never complained about the comfort. After two years of pretty rigorous use, the cord connection is finally starting to fail. Might be able to do an at-home fix. Nonetheless, we feel like these provide way better bang for the buck than beats or other competitors.

This is a must have. It blocks out unwanted sound and gives great sound to music.

They sound good not great. I could not tell any difference in these and my other son's beats that are also over the ear.
