You do need to ensure you get the proper 3D glasses for the “type” of 3D technology your system(s) use. If you’re not sure ask the tech’s @ Best Buy and they will direct you to your choices.

Only difference is that i must set my TV manually to 3D mode where the active glasses have a button on them that auto switch my TV to 3D mode.
