Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the PlayStation 4's impressive graphics and performance, along with its generally good price and ease of use. Many also praised the system itself and the included controller. However, some users noted that the online play requires a subscription fee and that the console's storage capacity may be limited for some users. Concerns were also raised regarding the controller's battery life and the lack of backward compatibility with older PlayStation games.

Easy Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought an Xbox1. The setup was a tedious and extensive process when compared to the PS4. Simply plug in PS4 and follow on screen prompts. Nothing to it. Easy to follow menu compared to the convoluted, at best, menu on the Xbox1. Graphics on PS4 are superior to the Xbox1. The controller is easier on the hands and not as complex to use. Also, the controller charges off the PS4 console. No batteries. Installing apps like Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix no trouble at all and all work without a problem. PS4 has it all over Xbox1.

It's almost a Perfect Bundle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PS4 500GB with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection it's almost a perfect bundle for anyone because you will have a hundred of titles on PSN and 3 incredible PS Only games! And it's almost perfect just because it comes with Digital Download code instead of physical copy of Nathan Drake Collection. PS4 is the perfect gaming console on this generation!

Great gaming system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being a PC gamer, was skeptical of dedicated gaming systems. However, PS4 has good graphics, downloadable gaming, plays DVD/Blueray, and includes on-line apps like Hulu, Netflix, etc... The Dual shock controller is excellent. Note that previous PS3 or Logitech controllers do not appear to work with the PS4. Unit includes 500 GB harddrive which is where the downloaded games are stored. The system and (3) included games appeared to use about 90 GB. The console interconnects via 2.4 Ghz wireless network. Connected w/o issue. Setup/installation was easy (HDMI only). Need to register at Sony online network, set up adult (master) account, set up sub-account(s) for under 18 users. Credit card not required to be entered unless purchasing games.

I love the console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I haven't played the game yet because I had other priorities as far as games I wanted to play on my brand new PS4. So my review is basically console based. So for starters I decided to treat myself and I bought a ps3 and a ps4 at the same time. It's very obvious what an upgrade from the ps3 the ps4 is. The new console is beautifully designed and they didn't mess it up by adding those ridges in. It runs so nicely and I don't experience any hiccups in service with connecting to the psn (unless psn is down and then we all suffer) The controller is SO COOL. I was so impressed with design it's really great. If you're new to the ps4 check out the demo video for the Playroom. It intros all the cool aspects of the new ps4 controller. LIKE THE MOTION SENSOR IS SO COOL. Everyone this is just a really cool system. HOWEVER, it's not a huge issue but it's annoying I'm so used to the startbutton and the select button. But those are gone now. They are so gone. Now you have the share button (which allows for sharing snapshots and video footage) and the option button which is basically the new start button. They aren't in the very center anymore but you adjust to them eventually. Also games on this thing are so expensive. So I just play a select handful of games and my ps3 games. If you want to get ps4 games cheaper a good rule is to buy the physical copy and not the version off of psn. It's about 10 dollars cheaper i noticed.

What Else Can I Say?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By this time we all know of the PS4 as a console. I'll stick to my comments on the Nathan Drake Bundle for this review. I waited to purchase my first PS4 when its price dropped and at $299, it was a deal I didn't want to pass up. Being a fan of the Drake collection, I was excited to play these games on the PS4. My first surprise, is that this bundle came with a physical collection disc and not download codes. Aside from that, this console did not disappoint, the game looks amazing and I'm gladly running through them so I can purchase Drakes 4 when available. I'm truly happy with this purchase and really can't say anything bad about it. I've owned a PlayStation since the PS1 was released and I'll gladly continue to stick with Sony.

Great Game Machine, Good Bundle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Great game console. Bundled games look and play great. Other disk-based and downloadable games I've played look great too. Uses two, at most three, cables to setup, that's all. Setup depends on how you want to connect this to the PlayStation Network (PSN). Network connection not required, but PSN is pretty good overall, certainly worth trying. Plenty of social media apps to enhance, share, and broadcast gameplay. Mostly easy to upgrade hard drive if you need more space. Cons: Hard drive is small. Backup / restore process takes a LONG time to complete. Can't use external hard drive to play games. Downloading games from PSN can take a long time, suggest using Rest Mode to do this. Social media functions are limited to a handful of the more popular apps (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, etc.). Overall: Great gift for someone that wants to play video games but doesn't want to invest time or effort into building or buying a dedicated computer game machine.

Great Gaming System...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great gaming system and getting it bundled is even better...you get a physical game and two digital downloads of Uncharted. Overall this gaming system is a large improvement from the PS3 and I am glad to have it as the new games for it have way better graphics. The controller is also a huge improvement and is for me more comfortable to hold and has some cool new features. One downside to PS4 is that so far there have not been a lot of local two player games. Mortal Kombat X seems to be the best one for that now...all our other multi player games are online only. so if your sharing this with your family, your gonna have to take turns.

Ps4 Uncharted Bundle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the Uncharted games on PS3 so I was thrilled when they offered it on PS4. Drake looks better than ever! If you are a fan who doesn't own a PS4, it is definitely worth purchasing! Great value! Can't wait for the release of Uncharted 4!

Ps4 Bundle with Nathan drake game

Awesome!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS4 system is pretty amzing these days. After owning an original PS, PS2 and PS3, I must say the PS4 is very sophisticated and designed for not only the modern gamer, but entertainment enthusiasts. The gaming graphic are nice, and the fact you can stream movie and store movies is nice. You can also store MP3s as well and the PS4 becomes your very own jukebox. Access to the PS store allows you to purchase games and movies all from your living room. Overall, it's a great system that runs smoothly. I recommend.

A Multi Media BeAsT!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playstation has always been my go too gaming console. I just like everything about the platform, the controllers, the games, the graphics, etc.. I really wanted to pick one up last year, however I usually never pick up new products when theyou 1st come out because I like to make sure they're a solid choice for the 1st year or so. Best Buy had a deal going on b4 Black Friday that I just couldn't resist so I went ahead & splurged. I don't regret it 1 bit. This Playstation 4 is everything I've imagined + more.

Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to wait until my PS3 bit the dust but I pulled the trigger when every merchant dropped the price for their bundles. The graphics for games as well as Netflix and Hulu are so much better than my PS3. I'm not really a fan of the Uncharted series but this is great for anyone looking to get into a new game. FYI it only contains the single player campaigns for all games included. Also as a reminder you'll want to purchase a PS Plus membership ASAP so you can play multiplayer games and such.

Great buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was getting the PS4 for my dad for Christmas, so I came to Best Buy to get it. Great price for the product, it got here quickly, and it was a very easy process. As far as the PS4 itself goes, it doesn't have any issues or anything that I know of, which it shouldn't, of course, and has been on pretty much 24/7 since it was opened. Great graphics, it's easy to get logged in, and the online play is getting better. Haven't had a chance to play the Uncharted game, but I've heard that it's ok.

Excellent upgrade.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded from a PS3 to a PS4. The choices of PS4 models were varied: Star Wars; Call of Duty; Uncharted. I chose the Uncharted version over the others because, 1) Star Wars games are notorious for being either really good or really bad; 2) Call of Duty games are fairly generic in nature (i.e. if you've played one you've really played them all). So, it was Uncharted for me. These games were originally released on the PS3 and are remastered for the PS4. I played these games on the PS3 and thought they were fantastic. My opinion hasn't changed for these remastered versions. The multiplayer components were stripped from the games, but that doesn't detract from the overall experience of these great games. But, these remarks don't address the hardware itself. The PS4 interface received a much needed face-lift from the PS3. Not only that, but party chat (something Xbox had for some time) is now available. Navigating the desk top is easy and very fluid. The hard drive is only 500 GB, but can be upgraded to a larger drive rather quickly and easily. If I have a complaint about the system, it's with the controller. There are instances where it doesn't respond or responds erratically. This can be annoying. That being said, if you're on the fence about buying a PS4, now is a great time to do it. The recent price drop to $350 makes it a terrific buy.

Absolutely stellar console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What's not to love? While admittedly it's odd geometric design don't exactly fit next to a fancy Blu-Ray player(hey it does that too!) or cable box, it certainly still looks and feels like a well designed device. The game selection is great, now with console exclusives like the Uncharted Trilogy, Bloodborne, and Infamous; along with many other titles cross platform titles, like Fallout 4 and Destiny, there will be many hours of entertainment, before you remember you can watch Netflix or play Blu-rays. Which it does so with ease. There are many other options for video and music services if one is so inclined if those suit your fancy. Playstation has also made it a much easier endeavor to upgrade the default 500GB harddrive to something quieter and loads faster(like an SSD) or a larger hard drive than the other console counterpart, if you're the more adventurous type. Now I will admit there are two slight caveats to what I believe is otherwise an amazing console, and those being the controller and UI interface. Don't get me wrong, the Dualshock controller 4 is a huge step over 2 and 3 in terms of comfort and design. But it still a little small for my liking, and the battery life leaves a lot to be desired(about 3-4 hours). I tend to lean to the Xbox design for the best controller, but it really comes down to preference. If you liked the other Playstation controllers you'll likely find this one a step up to an already great controller. I also find the UI is a bit of a mess, trying to figure out where to go to access downloads, messages, and inviting/accepting an invite can all be a little messy to figure out. But luckily you'll likely be spending too much time in games to worry about it.

Love the bundle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a Christmas gift for my brother. The sale price I couldn't pass up especially for the price of that game alone. Growing up we have always been a PS family. I like the way the controllers feel and someone that doesn't know much about systems can operate the menu with ease. I wish the online play wasn't so expensive because That really had opened up paying with my brother while he lives a couple hours away.

Great price for the PS4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be honest, I've just been waiting for the price to drop on the PS4. I haven't even played the included Drake game. The only reason I bought this was because there was no PS4/Fallout4 bundle. But now I really wish I had picked up the PS4 earlier. It is a dramatic improvement over the PS3 in many ways, and it is definitely worth $350! Rocket League is great, Fallout4 is wonderful, and the UI is pretty cool, too.

Great console overall.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not much else to say that most have not heard about the PS4 before but to just reiterate what a fun console it is to own. Great exclusives titles, and the Nathan Drake collection is not a bad game at all to start out with. Definitely nostalgic to old PS3 owners who enjoyed playing Uncharted games. Great way to become familiar with the series as well for those anticipating Uncharted 4. Good console overall.
