The new PlayStation 4 slim is by far, the best design Sony has released yet. It is 30% smaller than the original PS4 model, includes two - 3.1 USB outputs which allows the Dualshock 4 controller to have ZERO latency when plugged in. The new lineage to the PlayStation empire also includes capabilities in 5G Wifi for faster, more reliable connection speeds and downloads. The only gripe I have heard from other reviews is that this model specifically does not have a Digital Optical output, which allows third-party headsets to utilize 7.1 surround sound audio simulation such as Dolby/DTS. My rebuttal to those disappointed, Sony has never utilized the Digital Optical output in any of their headsets, and have 3 headsets (including the new Platinum headset soon to be released) that all use 7.1 technology without requiring the use of the now discarded output. There are also new options of third-party headsets such as the new Steelseries Arctis line of headphones that have 7.1 simulation through analog input. As for gaming in general, what else needs to be said, if you haven't heard about how many amazing titles are on this generation's console alone, you have some serious catching up to do. Thankfully, Sony thinks of the customer first, new and returning with great flash sales on PSN almost every month. All in all, it's smaller, quieter, faster, and in my opinion, better looking than the original PS4.

I love this console! I got this set for black Friday and I was soooo excited when I found the package on my doorstep. I'm a college student and it's my winter break. I've spent quite a bit of time enjoying the awesome graphics, made some use out of the blu-ray player (only had a regular DVD player before), and tried out some different games. Uncharted 4 is really fun! I also got Ratchet&Clank with the set because of the black Friday sale. I already finished that game, it was so much fun! I grew up only having a Wii and I eventually bought a Wii U, but I really wanted to expand my options. After debating between this and an Xbox I'm really glad I went with the PS4. The graphics are amazing and I love the exclusives :) Kudos to Best Buy too, because their customer service was excellent! I had to contact them because there was a problem with stockage for one of my items. They could not have been any nicer! I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were!

I havent owned a playstation since the first one came out. Also had the first PSP. I was surprised with how familiar i was still was with the PS4 when i turned it on. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SIZE. It sits perfectly on my wall shelf vs the xbox one which has the front 2 feet hanging off the edge in order to fit. I havent noticed any lag. I do noticed however that the controller battery doesnt last as long as my xbox controllers.

Got this just before the Holidays as a little gift for myself and have benn playing on this console ever since. I used to own a PS1 & PS2 and now they have definitely come a long way. Awesome kit, bundle, and overall use as well. Must have! Love the slim touch it has as well!

I decided to get the PS4 and give my PS3 to my son. I am glad I finally did that. This system is awesome and the graphics are way better then what I was used to. I love this system and been buying up games like crazy to see how they all look.

The PS4 is a great gaming console for the price and the hit Uncharted 4 game included with it made it a true must have item this Christmas I'm so glad I was able to take advantage of the low holiday price at Best Buy $249!

Sony did it again, this console is just as good as promised and Best Buy's bundle is a great starting point for those who've never had the pleasure of having experienced the brand.

PS4 is the best system to have!!!! Way better than the Xbox one

Great console at a great price (on sale for $250 with Uncharted 4). The system is great. It's slim, sleek, and easy to set up and use. The Uncharted series is a fantastic series the provides hours of fun, and the 4th installment is easily the best one. The updated dualshock 4 controller is a grea improvement on an already great controller.

This system is smaller and lighter than the original PS4 but just as much fun. Best Buy had a great price and it came with a free copy of uncharted 4! The controller feels good in your hand and the PlayStation operating system is very fluid. I got the PlayStation because of the PlayStation exclusive games such as uncharted, injustice, god of war, etc.... These games are extremely fun and have tons of replay value. The only thing I would say some audiophiles should be concerned with is that there Ali's no optical port on the slim PS4. I remedied this by using the optical out on my TV after running the HDMI through the television.

I'm late to the PS4 party and actually was late to the PS3 party as well. I almost always wait for the slim version of the console to be released and this one did not disappoint. The new slim PS4 is considerably smaller than the original Xbox one and fits in well with all my gaming systems. I like the tweaks they made with the power button and new dualshock controller. The system is quiet and is working perfectly since I installed it. I don't mind that the digital audio jack was removed since I wouldn't use it so it's far from a deal breaker for me. I am looking forward to some PS4 exclusive releases and for VR which was my main reason for picking one up. Definitely a great system!

Was hesitant to upgrade from my PS3 and saw how much of a headache it was to setup the Xbox so I opted to upgrade to the PS4 and have no regrets whatsoever. The console is easy to set up (up and running in 10 minutes), comes with a HD cable already so you don't have to buy one, is compact, runs quietly and has great graphics. If there was one con, it is not backward compatible to PS3 games so there were a couple of my fav games that I am no longer able to play since they don't have a PS4 version but overall I don't regret the decision to upgrade.
