There isn't a single bone in my body whatsoever that regrets the purchase of this console. I was perfectly happy with my ps4 and I did not need to upgrade at the time. However, I decided that I work hard enough. I deserve to have a little fun too so, thanks to some specials for Black Friday, I splurged on this unit for my husband and I and we've been addicted ever since. The graphics are insane and the games really come to life versus the previous console. The integrated 3D surround sound is fun to have in general, but when used with a headset- as recommended- it is a whole other gaming experience. I purchased this unit specifically because of the limited edition God of War themed console due to my die hard devotion and love of the series. Kratos is king in the PlayStation universe for me and I love playing those games from the very original first streamed across PlayStation plus to the latest game where every time once triumphant I proclaim that I am the god of war! Meanwhile, I will say that I'm a little disappointed in Sony just because of the fact that I think this console is hideous and ugly. As much as I love it's technology, it's just an eyesore and not my favorite thing at all. I have it practically hidden at the moment so that I don't have to look at it at every second. It gets pretty hot when in use no matter how you had it set up (or which group you fall into for the online debate of whether to set it horizontal or vertical) The last generation console was at least sleek in somewhat fashionable. This is big bulky and I hate the fact that it only comes in white. Even after purchasing we knew we would need an extra controller like we have purchased previously for other PlayStations. So I immediately purchase the midnight black controller for myself which I love and I'm happy with. Aside from the looks, I'm not very happy with the UI in that it's very hard to find a web browser available on the PS5. On PS4 It was easily integrated and easily found So that should you need to go online or surf online, do anything on any website you could easily do so. In this unit, you'll be hard pressed to find it. I have found the web browser once or twice in the 4 to 6 months. I've owned the console but if I were to be asked to specifically go in and go to the browser, don't ask me because I can't find it anymore. Also, while I understand the branding and the companies wanting to continue their monopoly on the purchase of their own products in a set line, I really hope that Sony would integrate the ability to have Bluetooth available to connect for outside audio sources. Unfortunately, once again that is not the case. There are a few ways that you can work around this should you want to game with your home, entertainment, sound system or stereo, but I'm not going to bother here with those little hacks They can easily be found online and truth be told, many of them don't even work. I think the least Sony could do is allow external speakers to be paired in the Bluetooth function because to experience the games fully you need to integrate not just the picture quality and headset sound - But for those who don't care for headsets - the sound of your environment. I will say, even though I'm not a huge fan of wearing headset during playing that I'm quite impressed with the ability of my new LG TONE FREE T90Q earbuds to easily connect the case to the system itself - or also via Bluetooth - and with these earbuds, it's a whole other level of gaming. They were the first on the market to successfully integrate spatial audio head tracking and Dolby Atmos and all of these wonderful features shine beautifully in combination with the PS5. Currently I am playing and semi-addicted to the PS5 game STRAY.

I purchased the PS5 to play in my free time and to get me to stop working on the weekends(Crazy sentence, I know...) Anyway, I am thoroughly impressed with the console and would 1000% recommend it. I've had a blast so far not only with the graphics but the controller... Let's take a few moments to talk about that. The adaptive triggers and vibrations are next-level immersive. I loved them so much that I platinumed ASTRO's PLAYROOM before I even downloaded another title. Went to Spiderman, then Rachet & Clank. While working on trophies in these games I played with my PC buddies on Warframe. I've had such an amazing time. As I download more games I can understand how people complain about the default storage, though if you're not playing a lot of live service games you should be fine. As long as you pay attention to the space left on your console. I've got 10 games installed with 150gb leftover. 3 of which are live service games.

The PS5 is everything you want in a gaming console and more. The load times are practically nonexistent, the graphics are jaw-dropping, and the DualSense controller really pulls you into the game with its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. It feels like you’re actually part of the action. Plus, the design is sleek and futuristic, though it takes up some space. If you can get your hands on one, it’s a game-changer—literally.

Performance and graphics are unlike anything I have ever played except for some of the top gaming PCs which cost significantly more than the PS5. Controller feels nice and it's good to be able to play Blu-ray media. Wish internal storage could be larger

I ordered this through Best Buy as they had none in the stores. BB kept me updated on shipping and the console arrived on the day BB said it would which was about a week after ordering. Pickup at the store was a breeze. Walk in-walk out with console in hand. This is the best PS5 package you get for the least amount of money. The voucher that comes with the PS5 is one of the best games to play on the PS5. It took me three years from the console's release to finally get my hands on it as I was not dealing with the scalpers and shortages that came with the initial release. My life is completely stress-free and it was not worth the freak out that I saw everyone going through over having a hard time getting one. Sony sent me the special adapter (when the PS5 was first released) for my PSVR so I knew with patience that the console would finally make its way into my game room and with me being a die-hard Dead Space fanatic with the new remake, I knew it would eventually happen. The game system itself is flawless as I have yet to find any cons so as far as I am concerned in the battle between the two, PS5 wins the war hands down as I play most all games through my PSVR headset. The storage capacity is not that great out of the box with less than 1TB because of how much space the system itself uses, but Sony simplifies adding additional internal storage without the expense of what it cost to add additional internal storage to the XB-SX, so Sony wins that battle as well. If you are interested in a PS5, and BB does not have it in the stores, and it still has the reduced price point of less than 490.00 (which is what I paid for my unit which equates to less than 500 for the console with a free GOW game) it is well worth the wait for the week it takes to get it shipped to the store from BB warehouse or shipped to your house. Next stop, PSVR 2, then I will consider an XB-SX as the XB-SS currently in the living will suffice for now.

Was dreaming to have one for a long time. When I got I was extremely surprise, it is an amazing experiences, the graphics are just one of a kind, the plot, conversations makes you feel in the story. The sound effects just keep me hypnotized; really user friendly, easy to connect to my TV , the control is so comfy and the account set-up is also really easy and it has a lot of games where to choose from.

I have been wanting this since it was released. Nothing short than beautiful. I share it with my nephew and younger brother and my lord did they not hesitate on making this as close to perfect as they can. The quality of it feels like I work for Sony myself. The games are impactful and you can feel the main difference on the controller with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Well done Sony, well done. Some slight imperfection but isnt major is the storage and another user being able to delete your account. I put GOWR, CODMW2, HFW and lost all my storage. Advice for others…BUY EXTERNAL HD for PS4 games and INTERNAL HD for PS5 games (unless you want to reinstall/archive them on the EXTERNAL HD). THANK YOU SONY, my childhood gamer side restored.

I love this thing. I bought the disc version and would recommend that to everyone else. You get the best of both worlds with disc version. You can buy physical games that come in a bundle package that have rare ps5 related items! Also if you buy digital games they have amazing deals on the PS store! Look around for the cheapest deal on games, it will save you a ton of money. I would recommend buying an additional memory booster. Some of these digital games are well over 100gbs! You will only have around 600gbs when you start off with a new ps5 I believe. Memory gets used up extremely fast! I also had a pleasant experience buying this from here. From me sending a request to purchase a ps5, I had an email invite like 2 days later plus only like 2 days to send it. So I received it extremely fast! I have heard of people waiting much longer though. This can also play most ps4 games as well. Also you can get a playstation plus membership for like $15 a month that allows you to play tons of ps5 and ps4 games. There is a lot of cool things to do with this ps5!!

Where can I even start. What a legendary console that I believe is the best of all time. Runs great, the console and games look great and overall a splendid console. Was super easy to unbox and set up. Had a very easy time purchasing it and it when I went to pick it up the process was seamless. Overall a great experience buying the console and even funner playing the magnificent games it has to offer. The only critique I have is the console storage is a bit low considering a lot of games take up almost 100 GB but too big of a problem and you won't have to worry about on a disk version of the console and you can always buy a SD card if you run out of storage

I’ve been for two years to get one for my daughter. Finally got one for her for Christmas. She loved it. It’s a little bigger than the old. But sooooo much faster and better graphics.

I love this console. I was not really into the Playstation 4 as much as I thought I would be. When the Sony PlayStation 5 are now finally in store stock without being sold old all the time. I went to my local BestBuy to take one home. Set up process to an hour to get everything going like downloading all the latest Sony updates. Controller is way better than the last generation and the graphics look great!

The PS5 is great. I wish it was a bit smaller in size. I got one color-matching controller out of the box. It still performs really well. I had to buy a second controller (black - see image) from GameStop a few weeks later. GOW has been such a great game to play. But this review I guess is more about the console and I'd say the console is practically perfect, made even better by the GOW game. FYI: I needed to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to mount the round base.

The PS5 has been amazing! I bought it open box but, it's been working wonderfully! My loading times are just so much better compared to the PS4 and the graphics on all my games are amazing. The PS5 has been able to run all my games very smoothly and with no trouble at all. My ps4 used to make this jet noise which was very annoying while I played, however with the PS5, It's very quiet! I highly recommend this to all PlayStation players out there.

After two XBSXs & an XBSS, I’ve finally gotten my hands on one of these. While I didn’t enjoy the wait, it was in fact worth it. My only hangups thus far are the storage & controller battery time. Before even turning it on, my son & I added 2TB of internal storage & changed the plates. Problem solved, though at a price. And what they say is true regarding the controller…if using all the features, the battery can very easily be drained. Still though, I give it 4.5 stars.

Amazing console!!!! Definitely worth buying. This bundle was perfect, I didn’t have to spend more to buy games right away, which I did anyway, but for the price it really wasn’t bad at all!! The only issue I have was with how long it took to finally be able to buy one , But now that I have it, it was worth the wait. By far the best console yet!!

I finally got my hands on a PS5 and I love it! It’s backwards compatible with the PS4 and since we have a lot of ps4 disks we went with a disk version of the ps5 as well. I love that you can just put the ps4 disk into the ps5 and some of them will allow you to download the ps5 edition at no extra charge, while other ones, such as call of duty, has an additional charge (COD Cold War is $10 extra). The controllers for this system are really awesome too. It’s a whole new experience. The vibration is so much better with its haptic feedback rather than just one set type of rumble, the dual sense is like Nintendo joycons but even better. The controller is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of time and the material is nice because it doesn’t get slippery if you have sweaty hands. Overall, I’m loving everything about this system, mostly the backwards compatibility with the PS4.

My husband and kids love the new playstation 5 its like a dream come true. The highly anticipated console is everything that it’s hyped up to be, it’s the perfect family entertainemnt system. We dont find the need to go outside and due things anymore. We stay safe inside the house, and play games with the family. Then we let the kids play online with their friends. It aslo good that their friends dont need to have a ps5 to play with them, due to cross. Definitely dont recommed taking it on the road with you.

Fantasic graphics, amazing speed, and great performance. Absolute must for gamers.
