The camera itself had better quality than I was expecting. Had a lot of fun playing through Until Dawn with the camera, but besides that it's just sitting on the self. Not many games out there utilizing the camera yet

The PS4 camera is a great piece of hardware. Works as a mic for audio commands very well. It is a bit creepy to think that your "PlayStation is always listening to every word you say". Login becomes fun because of facial recognition. But what can you REALLY use the camera for? Well, practically nothing.. yet. There are rumors about Skype / Google Hangouts for PS4. Then there's the Project Morpheus carrot being dangled in front of customers. All in all, there's a lot of use for this camera, but only in theory. It's a shame Sony has wasted some excellent hardware on this. I would not buy this again.

This ps4 camera is very nice, has a few voice commands and is used more for live streaming your game play on Twitch or Ustream. Not alot of game for the camera. But I like streaming and this is what I use it for.

Nice to have as there is a facial recognition software on the PS4 that can recognize you as the person playing and logs you in. Easy to install. Just need a lot of light in the room for it to work well.

I enjoy the camera but the camera has no games. Using it for logging in and voice command is fine and for some of the sharing features but I would like to be able to see how they use it in video games

This is a great product, don't get me wrong, but if you aren't streaming with it or using it as a mic for gaming, there isn't much you can do until you get more games that are specifically made for it.

Its a camera and well has the cool feature of recognizing my face to log into a profile but that is really all I use it for. It also has a decent mic if your looking for a way to use voice commands.

Nothing special, but can be useful. Face recognition is far better than Kinect and the microphone works quite well. Overall, it's not a must-have but it can improve the experience of your PS4.

At first I was not sure if I needed or wanted a camera but once I hooked it up my view changed. It is an excellent addition and so much more interactive than the PS3 camera. I use it for voice command, online chat, and Just Dance 2015. No complaints so far.

I just started twitching and was looking for a PS4 camera that wasn't expensive. I purchased this camera because a friend recommended it. I must say that I loved it from the start. It easy to use and the quality is great. I recommend this camera!

Took a while for me to get the system to recognize the camera. After several hours and almost brining the camera back, urika, it worked. Great facial recognition technology. Wish just dance 2016 would work with it though. Was the main reason I purchased. Sorry, not thrilled with my 5 year old having to use my cell phone to play a game.

The Playstation Camera for the PS4 is a great addition to an already awesome console. You don't really need it, but it adds some functionality to the PS4, such as voice command and using it as a microphone while gaming online.

I love the camera makes you do alot.of things wit has it.You can talk to Playstation without using remote I have fun with my kids playing the games and recording them.

it acts as both a mic and camera for live streaming; however, it also allows the user to control ps4 with voice. But unlike other devices (gaming systems) it understands the speaker making navigation quick and simple.

Right now the camera is most useful for three main functions. Most importantly, it allows for picture-in-picture of your face when streaming over Twitch or Ustream. It also allows for instant face recognition, which, when combined with the colored lights on the front of the controllers, immediately assigns profiles to the gamers present. The third option, and quite likely least important, is the camera’s limited series of voice commands that work well enough start games and navigate the menus, but recognizes far fewer commands than Microsoft’s Kinect. (And annoyingly, it lacks a command to turn the system on at all.)

The quality of the camera is superb. The mic within the camera is the only bad part. The picture for streaming is good. The camera is easily set up on the ps4.

Camera works well but there is not much to do with it on the PS4. You can skype or play just dance. I'm hoping that more games are developed using this technology.

The camera came with all the required cords and setup was pretty straightforward. It also came with a nice stand allowing me to mount it on top of my television. I bought the device in anticipation for playstation VR however it does see use often in the fact that it supports voice commands. The system is robust and is fairly easy to control. The camera also supports facial recognition to allow logins and I have had absolutely zero problems with it since my purchase several months ago.

I picked this up on sale out of curiosity, figuring I could use it for voice commands and put my face into a couple of games. And on that....it works, thought it's not great. Voice commands: The PS4's dashboard can be voice controlled, and sometimes it works great, but there are a couple of titles where it simply does not work at all. Web cam: Tearaway has a video feature that shows you sitting on your couch. It works, but the video quality is pretty poor. Since I picked it up for so cheap, I'm rating it "good" though for full price I would rate it lower.

This world just right. The voice commands are easy to use and the camera resolution is great. While not a lot of games support the Camera at this time, the possibilities are astounding as what can be done.
