Camera is pretty cool. It's great that it comes separate from the play station 4 system. Play station 4 Need more games that's compatible with the camera. Easy to install and easy to use. Price is not bad at all. Web chat is pretty cool also.

I love this camera. Sony has certainly improved on the old ps3 model with this one for the ps4! So far the only negative thing i can say is one; it feels light and kinda fragile. Two there's no actual games to play with it yet. Having said that it's great for video chat and broadcasting. Can't wait to see how it performs with compatible upcoming games. ....

In general it is a good cam. Easy to set up, seems very durable and has a wide range of focus. However, the voice recognition is not very good. Sometimes you have to scream at the cam in order for it to do what you asked. I am a ps4 fan for life but this cam can be better. Still would recommend, because I assume with software update it would get better.

The camera itself is great but adding it to the PS4 was even better, the kids had an absolute blast with the playdom and ninja bots and the camera is a must if you wanna play that, it's a lot of fun and kept the kids busy all day and everytime they play , the clarity is excellent and it even has a speaker/microphone built into it so you can use voice commands to control the ps4 anywhere in the room, I highly recommend it to anyone who has the PS4

Very good quality camera, voice commands make it easier to navigate your PS4, good for gamecasting while you play. Only real knock on it at the moment is there aren't a lot of games outside of the playroom that utilize the camera.

The Camera for the PS4 is great but its still not that good in terms of different things you can use it with. It is very limited and can still improved down the road. But right now there isnt much you can do with it. The robot is pretty okay but not else you can do after you try the games/apps. If you are a twitch user this can be great for you.

Bought camera on a good sale. Would not pay full price for it. Not enough games to utilize it and the recording quality is ok. I was expecting a clearer image and I'm using a Samsung 65 inch 1080p HD television. Also, keep in mind, when you set it up, you can't be too far from it. Seems like the golden distance is between 6 to 8 feet from it. Anything greater and the camera starts to have trouble picking your face up. A little bulky to set up on the top of the newer and thinner televisions, so I set mines up below it. Might be more challenging to set up if you are using a wall mounted television. I would recommend this for anyone with children 11 yrs old or younger. Playstation 4 comes pre-loaded with a program that would be sure to entertain kids that young for hours using this camera. *Side note, seems like most people utilize this camera on the Playstation network to create their own video blogs and or streaming shows.

Although they have very little games out now for the camera, it does have potential. I've tried the games they do have and it's fun for the whole family but can get repetitive after awhile. It's also great to use if sharing games, but I haven't tried that yet. It's got potential, hopefully they'll use it and create more fun games for it.

The camera allows verbal commands similar to the xbox one, which is nice. Integrates with PS4 software directly for streaming and sharing. Great price on sale. Hooks up easily to the console, and rests on the tv without any mounts. Large range of adjustment too.

The camera has great quality. It isn't too expensive. Easy to set up and works exactly as expected.

Unbelievable camera with microphone and voice commands. My son is loving his PS4 alot more now.

I was hesitant about picking this accessory up for my PS4. I hadn't really seen many games and features that would utilize this. It wasn't until Sony announced that the PS4 would support voice recognition that I decided to pick it up. It went on sale for $40 on Black Friday this year and figured it was time for me to get it. So far I'm satisfied and am waiting for more games to support the camera and "rumored" enhancements to the voice recognition support. Right now, it recognizes the user of the controller by facial recognition and can do simple, mundane tasks such as "start settings", "start Injustice", "start friends", etc. I'd like to see it actually translate my speech to messages, have games pick up voice commands like, "open satchel", or "pause" or "menu" or "weapon cache". But that's probably me thinking too much into the future or just being lazy. ^_^ Overall, a nice accessory that's not supported by many games at this time.

If you need an affordable camera to stream or enjoy great games in the PS4 then this is it. It comes with a room mic that has great quality. My only issue with this accessory is the camera quality is sub par. It will do what you want it for but its not HD and requires quite a bit of light to produce a good picture.

The camera is a great idea, and I honestly wish Sony made it a mandatory device. So what can the camera do? 1) log you in 2) voice controls (power off system, go to home screen, start games, exc.. 3) Track movements (in games that support the feature) While it is a nifty device, and the above features are cool, it is hard to recommend since there isn't any real support for the camera. I could be mistaken, but I believe there aren't any games out there that make use of the camera. There is "The Playroom", but it is more or less a tech demo to show you what can be done. While fun for a bit, The Playroom does loose appeal after awhile. If you have all the games that you already want, and want something new to try out, I would say pick up the camera for the voice controls. However, if you are on the fence about picking up a new game or a controller to play with your friends, I would pass on the camera until more support is provided.

Great camera with excellent facial recognition. Love the voice command feature!

We have only used this a little, but are impressed by the improved brightness, plus facial and voice recognition, which the PS3 version didn't do. I do wish that the instructions for mounting on the TV were better - I had to do quite a bit of guessing and am not certain that it is sufficiently stable.

This camera is a great improvement over the Playstation 3 camera. It performs and looks much better. The free applications you can download for this camera are awesome. If all I did with this camera was those free apps we would have a ton of fun. But, those games that utilize the camera work much better than the Playstation Move ever did. I am very happy with my investment in this camera.

The PS camera is much better than the old PS Eye for the PS3. It's high def and the tracking is excellent. It's pretty gimmicky at the moment with only a few games utilizing it. The Playroom is a lot of fun. Worth it for the discounted price it's currently selling at. Hopefully more games will come.

quality of video as well as functionality of item is much better than the PS3 version. HOWEVER, there's not much available right now that uses the camera. Hopefully as time goes by there will be more items that take advantage of this. Also kind of hard to place atop the newer extremely thin TVs
