I know it's been stated over and over, but the PS4 camera needs to improve itself if it wants to match the XBOX in the motion games category. It needs to improve its motion sensing capability because it did not have very accurate reading when using the Playroom. It was one thing when people said it couldn't read small children when playing Just Dance 2015 like others have stated, but it doesn't work very well with the Playroom either. I love it much better than the PlayStation Eye gaming wise (though the Eye had one great thing over this camera, the ability to video chat), but it still needs to improve. On top of that, the game selection is sparse because it was hard to find a kid friendly game for my children to enjoy the camera with. In all, it's a good start for PlayStation, but I wish it would match the Kinect! I only have a PlayStation so I'm envious of my brother's Kinect in that it works so much better. I still like my PlayStation and the camera though but that's all I have and I wish it were more.

It's a good camera and does what it's supposed to be currently I can't find anything it adds to the standard playstation system unless you just wanna play with the little bots in the game room all audio will echo in other ppls headsets and a slightly higher volume will be very noticeable to others

Excellent camera but not as good as the Kinect for the xbox one in terms of voice commands. It easily recognizes me each time allowing me to log in without using my controller. Voice commands are on the lighter side of what is available through voice but there are always updates for improvement.

Besides some mini games and the voice control function for the PS4, I'm not sure what else can it do. I hope there will be more games like XBOX will be on PS4 using this camera. Otherwise, I feel like I'm wasting my bucks for this.

It does work well for the game it comes with and on the Raving Rabbids game we own. All 3 of my kids have used it multiple times and seem to like it as well as the Xbox 360 Kinetec camera so it's a worthwhile addition to the PS4 if your kids like the kind of games you can play with it.

With this camera you have more options for your ps4. Some games now have a use for the camera. For example in NBA 2k15 you can put your face in the game with a simple scan of your face using your PS camera! It feels great playing as myself in the game, something I've always wanted to do. Also it works as a microphone where you can say commands to the ps4. Great buy.

The camera is great - and turns Just Dance into a whole lot more fun with the recorded videos, but it is a bit particular regarding how high it has to be and what its field of vision is. My 3-year old doesn't get recognized bc he is too small which is disappointing (especially for him).

I bought the camera when I finally came back in stock. It's a great camera, has many features but there aren't many games you can play it with. It would be more useful for me if Skype was on the Playstation 4. I wouldn't recommend this accessory until there are more games compatible with it.

This came free with my ps4. I would have not bought it but if you're into recording and doing live stream then this is for you. It has very good quality and good in dark rooms. I'm disappointment that the ps4 does not utilize it for more games. I hope in the future I see more games.

The camera is good if you have the right games for it. The PS4 has a program called The Playroom which is fun for a couple of minutes but great for kids who like to interact in a virtual setting. The camera is great for Just Dance 2016, but I found that the camera sometimes can not identify people correctly if the distance and lighting are not optimal.

The playroom is about the only thing I can use the camera for, hoping to see some kid friendly games in the future for my little one. Dont see me using this much for any games I play, but holding out hope for future games.

The price is cheaper that gamestop and it is a great camera for the PS4.

We really enjoyed the ps3 eye camera so we purchase this,and boy to our surprise it was fun for the whole family ,and it never got old. the new technology really puts you in the game in the augmented reality simulated world. tons of fun ,parents and kids will love this very user friendly and fun and addictive console addition for their gaming system.

The camera isn't really being used for much as of this review post. The reason I got was because it came free with the system. It doesn't add much to the experience but I enjoy the facial recognition and being able to just sit down and play without having to log in to anything.

I've never bought a peripheral like this. I've always felt cameras were gimmicks, but I kind of figured that might change this gen with Kinect being forced on every xbox one owner. I pulled the trigger and got the playstation camera and I have been very pleased. I use this as a mic, to log onto my console, and to issue voice commands because it reminds me of Star Trek. I quite enjoy watching my niece play with the little robots and stuff using the playroom app. She gets a ton of enjoyment out of it! When the support arrives for this thing it will be a pretty nice bonus to gameplay. I've enjoyed it so far. Less controller usage is pretty nice.

Good deal when I bought it on black Friday. The only issue is the lack of benefits the camera offers due to the lack of games. There are not many good games for the camera and its capabilities. Hopefully we can get more interactive games in which we can use the camera.

I bought this strictly for Just Dance 2015 as my wife wanted to play the game. The camera adds some nice options to the PS4 that wouldn't otherwise be available. Sometimes doesn't recognize us properly, we have played with lighting, placement, etc, only reason for 4 stars.

The playroom is really fun with the camera alot of coil features

bought the camera with rewards points and got more than half off :) the camera is great. good capture quality and the matching between camera and controller is spot on. only draw back is that there are not enough games for it. Hoping the VR goggles will make up for it.
