May not be as sophisticated as the kinect but its cool in its own right. Has voice recognition, face recognition, and of course motion controls. The free app The Playroom that uses it is pretty neat. Plus of course if you want to do video chat and live broadcasting, you should definitely pick this up.

There are only less than a handful things you can do with this camera and once you've done them....your done. The sign in with facial recognition is nice but it doesn't hurt me to press X on the joystick. Hopefully Sony will come out with more gaming with it, u too then it just sits there staring at you.

The camper was easy to set up and works well. Infinitely better then the Xbox 360 Kinect which I was previously accustomed. I wish it had a little better stand as it doesn't sit well on my television and it'd be nice if I could rotate a little horizontally. If you have a PS4 I highly recommend it!

I like this so much better than Kinnect. It doesn't try to be too much. It's pretty much a mic and a camera. With back light it's decent. There are a few fun games and features in games where you can use the camera. My favorite part is no more logging in it sees you and knows you and bam you're in!

The PS4 camera is not a bad device to have. If you enjoy streaming gaming content and having your face included, this will work great for your PS4. It doesnt have the features as the Kinect, but it's good enough for its purpose.

It's a good camera for PS4. By no means it's fantastic. It does display in high resolution. It's not 1080p, but 720p. The flaws i'd say, is not enough games use this except for kids who may like play some games that use this.

I have to admit I was skeptical about this product at first, just saying the last 2 systems had cameras for around the same price and they did not do very much on their own. This camera is pretty cool, I can totally see what Sony has in mind for this one after using the camera in the Playroom app.

I bought this PS 4 camera with the $15 coupon. Your PS4 will be fully functioned with this camera including the voice control. It is also a must have item if you like dancing games. Recommend it to everything PS4 owners.

What more can I say? It just works. I haven't tried to use the video upload part of it. I only use it for the Playroom game. I would like to get some other games that will use the camera, but there aren't that many out there.

My kids love this Playstation 4 camera. They enjoy playing around with the voice commands and talking to their friends when playing online. The best part is that I got it for 1/2 the price during black Friday.

I got this from my cousin for Christmas with no desire on the additional gadget . After trying it for once, I'm hooked! Diving into PlayStation social media and lots of creativity in my mind to do with this

Good camera overall. Fun to play the built in games, facial recognition, and voice commands. Waiting for more games and apps to use the camera and extend it's functionality.

I was surprised how good of a picture this had on the screen opposed to the camera that was out for the PS3. I think this will eventually be a big part of gaming with the PS4 but it's not that big of a deal yet.

I got the PS4 camera for just dance games and the robot interaction and it is pretty fun. Probably not worth the $50 just yet but more games will come out later that will better utilize the camera.

Much like the kinect but $100 cheaper can do alot of cool things broadcast while playing games with friends ect,, they need to make more content for this item but nice to have and cant beat the price

The camera is a really good value and the games that use it are awesome. While it can be used while streaming any game, most games just don't implement it very well yet. It will be even matter when more do.

I was skeptical buying this item, due to the fact that I do not have any games needing the camera. It is definitely interesting. The games to interact with within the playroom are entertaining.

Although you don't need a camera to enjoy your PS4 it does add some additional fun. The playroom is fun for the kids. Also if you stream and want to be seen while doing so its a must have. I don't use the voice mode to access features but it does work.

Easy to set up and fits on top of your flat screen. Lots of fun playing games and with the robots on screen. rated 4 instead of 5 do to lack of game variety included with initial purchase.
