The promise of VR delivers on Sony PS4! I've been incredibly impressed by the immersive, high-quality visuals in games such as Astro Bot Rescue Mission (THE reason to get the VR package). The experience definitely depends on the game and the strength of your stomach. I've gotten nauseous from games that have a too-realistic first-person walking experience like Resident Evil 7. It's better to play games in which your character is standing still and then gliding to a new spot. Hoping eventually Sony can crack this because it would be nice to have a real, first-person experience and walk in place without nausea. That said, there are plenty of games that don't give you this experience, hence my four-star review. And I will say I was surprised to find that the VR and graphics are higher quality than a VR helmet ride I tried at a major theme park.

The Sony VR works perfectly with our new PS4 Pro. The bundle gave us everything we needed along with the excellent and fun Beat Saber game.

I had been wanting to get into VR for a while, but hadn’t been able to justify the cost for a PC setup. I already had a PS4 Pro, and when this set went on sale, I finally bit the bullet. I had previously tried out an Oculus Rift, and wasn’t expecting the PSVR to live up to that...however, I was pleasantly surprised. It really does look good, and most games play very well. The Move Controllers show their age, but are definitely usable. Overall, a very good entry point into VR for those who already have a PS4.

I've been wanting to get into VR for years now. Basically since trying the Oculus at a convention before they were even selling them to the public. Sadly, VR is still quite the investment if you're looking to go the PC route. When I saw this bundle (on sale no less) I decided to finally curb my VR cravings with this cheaper alternative. While Boarderlands VR is definitely cool in theory, I personally get extremely motion sick playing it but luckily, this bundle came with Beat Saber which is definitely worth all the praise it gets! Not only is it a fun game, but playing on the harder difficulties even works up a sweat. Getting a bundle is definitely the way to go. I gave this one 4 stars because I feel they somehow knew BLvr wasn't going to be a success so they bundled it with a highly anticipated game.

I purchased the Borderlands VR Bundle before Christmas. In general, the PS VR experience fully immerses me in four games that I've played. The majority of the games have been horror, such as Persistence, but compared to playing horror games on a TV screen, VR succeeds at scaring me beyond the standard TV screen experience. However, there are 3 disadvantages to the PS VR experience. (1) the built-in lenses scratch far too easily. I acquired my first scratch from my glasses and the lenses coming into light contact. (2) the motion controllers are not well designed for VR. They should have been redesigned to include joysticks or a motion pad to allow you to have complete mobility like with the HTC Vive. Finally, (3) the camera allows only very limited range of motion of the headset. If you duck too low or stand to high, then a black screen shows up telling you that your out of range. All in all, the price is perfect and every gamer should at least try VR to have a completely different experience.

My husband and I love this. We play beat saber all the time and he really enjoys borderlands. Very easy to set up and use

I bought the PS4 because I knew I was going to buy the VR kit to go with it. I've played a few times and it is a fun and immersive way to play games. The system is fast enough that I don't notice any lag as I was rotating my head around and it is interesting how you feel like there is a whole world around you. Having the headphones on the helmet is nice to provide some sense of depth and direction. I have an AV system that is on so the loud noises get the booms they need from there and the voices are filled in nicely by the headphones. A great combination. The resolution of the display in the headset is just a tick too low meaning you can see the pixels, at least when you're looking for them. After you start playing a game, it doesn't seem to matter. I have an issue where I have not got the balance of the tensions on the headset set right so I tend to feel fatigued and there are specific pain points from wearing the helmet. It't not major, but if you play for an extended period of time, you may notice. For me, Borderlands 2 VR was the exciting part of the bundle. It doesn't come on media in the box, so be prepared to download it before you play. However, I love that game and playing in VR is like playing a new game that is familiar all over again. I'm also looking forward to playing Doom VFR. Setup was easy. Took a little getting used to experience, but it has been fun since.

My friend had me try his new VR goggles for his PS4... I was so impressed that I went out and bought my first PS4, this VR package, and other VR games (astrobot, beat saber, firewall, etc)... the experience of using these VR goggles is absolutely spectacular. The headset is comfortable and when you wear it, it really feels like you are inside the game... This is one of the most spectacular video game experiences that I have ever had in my life! Heck Yeah I'd recommend it!!! :-D

The upgrades made to this version of the psvr have really improved the experience and the responsiveness of the vr. I Had the first version and the breakaway box was a pain because it had to be plugged into the ps4 USB port and well with only 2 it doesn't leave much room for anything else to be plugged in. With this version it only has to be plugged in while playing vr. The pass-through is top notch.

I have gone through a few games now and, while it is not always perfect for sensing where you are, it is still is much more enjoyable than I was expecting. So far, I have played Astro Bots (extremely cute and fun), Beat Saber (great rhythm game) and Zone of the Enders (PS2 port given VR treatment). Sometimes the focus can get a little off and the headset will need adjusting, but is not hard to do. The light is not as bad as I was expecting, being as close to the face as it is. You can see some graininess if you really look for it, but was not nearly as bad with the phone "vr" and is still better than any other I have played before. Definitely going to be picking up Ace Combat 7 and see how good this thing can get.

I was skeptical on sony VR. I was wrong. Great piece of Hardware, great games. Fun for all family members

I picked up a PlayStation vr system for some specific games but found it way more useful than anticipated. The headset is comfortable but image quality is a slight step down from Occulus Rift. Still, a great value for those who already own a PS 4 and want to experience an immersive VR experience. Sony has a growing library of VR games through the PS store which makes it easy to find a gaming experience suited to most anyone’s style.

My first vr experience was my oculus go. I automatically wanted more so I was in line for the Quest ,which I still my get purely for additional gaming options. This headset is comfortable and easy to use. I haven't had this long and my boyfriend is more of a gamer than myself, but I find it to be somewhat easy to use for beginners and there're gaming options for all. My favorite at the moment is Astro Bot Rescue Mission!

This set up is quick easy and fun man I have not had this much fun in a long time!well worth it!!

After experiencing modern VR at a D&B's, I was excited at the thought of getting some VR at home without selling a child into labor to buy a capable PC. However for the price of entry I was skeptical of it's performance and features. While I'm sure it's far from the best VR solution out there, it was perfect for me and my family. There are fun family/party games, clever puzzle games, and some impressive platformers.

The PlayStation VR is something you would only expect to dream of. The second you put the VR on, you forget completely about the existing world. Everything feels surreal. The PlayStation move controls never gave me any issues and the camera is great at tracking every single movement. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is willing in trying something completely different than your common gaming console.

I've been gaming all my life. I love watching new and innovative products hit the market. The current surge of VR has everyone jumping on board, so I figured I would try. Last time I tried VR was in the early 90's in an arcade in the mall. Lawnmower man status. Flash forward to now, and we have this. The immersion you feel is great. Many great games to choose from. A good way to start VR gaming at an affordable price.

We enjoy the PS4. Great VR experience, picture and a reasonable price! We would buy again!
