The VR has great quality when playing but on screen for others to watch its not as great (even on a 4k tv). Despite that it seems to run best on a pro since it can keep up with the frame rate without the fans blasting to keep up on a regular ps4. Also, I recommend playing the VR for less than 6 hrs a day because it can cause motion sickness and vision problems.

Yes bought this for my son as a christmas present. In addition to this bundle ialso purchased the accessories with Skyrim (psvr). I honestly cant believe how cool it is when you put the helmet on(really above my expectations). It blew me away with the motion and the feel of being in the game. I honestly could not believe it, more than i expected.

Bought this for a friend for his Christmas present this year because he's always hanging around my place wanting to play my PSVR all the time..lol. Got this on the special Sony "Holiday pricing" of just $200 and I must say that this is an AWESOME DEAL to get the PSVR Headset! I bought my PSVR Bundle earlier this year and have enjoyed it immensely! I still play games on a Flat screen (I also have an XBox One), but playing games in VR is truly an awesome experience that really does "put you INSIDE the game world" (the "hype" is real). This Gran Turismo PSVR Bundle is a great way to finally get yourself into VR Gaming if you already own a PS4. Even if you don't own a PS4 it's worth picking up a PS4 (the PS4 Pro is recommended) to be able to experience VR Gaming (unless you've got the cash to invest in a high-end PC and an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive). This bundle comes with a physical copy of the Gran Turismo Game (though it only has "limited" VR features it's still cool to drive a car in VR). It also has a copy of the latest PSVR Demo disc with a bunch of cool playable VR demos that can show the potential of VR games. Definitely recommended especially if you can get this at the special holiday pricing.

This psvr is great. I wish the graphics could be just a little better, but no major complains. For a first generation vr, it is affordable, even if you don't already have a ps4. This is the discontinued version, but who cares. I don't care about not having the hdr pass through. It not worth paying like $100 extra for the newer one.

Over all, i was satisfied with this product. granted, it's only as good as the games you can play, which let's face it, aren't very good. The ones that are are really short. still, VR is the way of the future, and it's better to support this tech now in hopes of sony improving it in the coming years. also, gran tourismo is dope af

My first experience with VR was back in the 90s when we were wowed by polygons and barely being able to really do anything. This is amazing. I don't care for the game but hen the only racing games I enjoy are Mario Kart. Teh VR however is awesome for games like Resident Evil VII and I'm looking forward to playing Batman VR.

Bought the PS4 VR because it was on sale and came with the Gran Turismo VR game. Connecting it to the PS4 was very easy and took less than 10 min. Gran Turismo was unreal and feels like I’m actually driving the car. I also bought the Resident Evil VR game and it was even more realistic! Playing a non VR game looks cool also. While I was playing Madden, it looked like I was in a theater playing it.

I did a lot of research before i made this purchase and i dont regret getting it....i was wowed as well as friends with this...not many games and i hope sony continues to invest...looking forward to havingv more options to play in the future....only downside, a lot more wires to connect and store when not in use

Got this for the fun of it. While the graphics are not over the top, the gameplay is immersive enough to make yourself think “wow”. I’m sure as the games advance and the technology progresses forward, it’s experience will get better along with the support. Only complaint would be the tracking between the camera and the headset. It seems to “drift” during some games.

The VR is impressive. It’s a bit blurry for me (I even went about adjusting settings for the optimal setup) but it’s all good because I bought it for my brother and I don’t have any intentions to play it much —if at all. A bit pricey, and the setup is ridiculous (not challenging, but inconvienent with all the cables running to and from the tv and ps4.

First, the good. The VR headset is relatively easy to connect, and the immersion is good, especially with the addition of headphones (included). There are two primary problems with the system. First, the rubber around the face should have been replaced with some sort of breathable padding, as your face will get quite hot and begin to sweat with about an hour of playing time. Second, if you have a 4K TV, the VR unit is incapable of passing 4K through the unit to the TV, so the best you'll get is 1080p. If you want to use the VR unit with 4K, you'll have to pick up an HDMI switch and toggle between 2 HDMI outputs on your TV or receiver, depending on whether you intend to play VR or standard 4K games. Overall, it's a decent system, if you can find it for $200-$300. Also, the game included has very little VR content, so you'll be playing most of the time with your regular screen, or through the VR headset without 3D VR immersion.

When I bought it, I did not know it was the first generation and when founf out I felt kind of dissapointed, but then tried it and look I saved a good ammount of money and enjoy it like anything else. I am still adapting to using it but so far I do love it

Virtual Reality at it's infant stages and doing well. I remember when I bought my PS3 and seeing a preview of what PlayStation can become with it's imagination and a little clip of VR for the future. Well it arrived and you won't be disappointed.

I really wanted to enjoy my PSVR, but every time I would play, I’d get motion sickness. I sadly returned it. If you are thinking about getting into VR gaming though, I’d definitely recommend it. It was really cool being fully immersed in the game. Just be sure you don’t get motion sickness before making a purchase.

I was expecting much more—starting with the picture. The resolution is not great. I can easily see the pixels. Also, I was expecting more of a VR experience. Maybe it’s just the Gran Turismo game that comes packed with it and other games are different, but basically you just be a big screen in front of you. If you turn your head, you don’t see out the side windows. I also had a hard time getting things focused. It seems like I could get three-fourths of the screen to be in focus, and the bottom quarter would start looking fuzzy. This is not the most comfortable thing to wear, either. After about 15 minutes, it was making my head sweat. It’s not terrible uncomfortable, but I certainly can’t see myself wearing it for long stretches. It was fun to experiment with, but I have a feeling after using it a few more times, it’s going to just sit unused. Think about it before investing this much money. I think I would have rather spend the money on a few really good games instead.

I like that the price was low. Even though the set contains last year's model it performs great. I actually like the headset better for this one because the cords can be separated and the headphone jack is not part of the headset.
