The resolution is pretty noticeably low and you can see the pixels. However, it is a pretty decent VR experience in this price range

Its like a childhood dream come true. Vr is here and its no gimmick. People my age will remember people in the 80s say "in the year 2000 there will be flying cars and virtual riality" well.....no flying cars yet, and we are way past the year 2000 but VR is here now at the consumer level and i can only see it getting better. My only complaint is the headset does not flip up. Sometimes i need to take a peek at the real world happening around me.

The headset is lightweight, and comfortable to wear for decent periods of time. The games I've played have been well done. The visual quality may not be quite up to the higher priced vr headsets, but it's very good. Especially for the price. They initial setup can take some time, and I do wish the headphones were handled a bit better. Pros: great build quality, visual quality, lightweight, good for long sessions Cons: how headphones are handled, range from camera isn't very far

Absolutely worth the money. Easy setup. Breathtaking views. Sold my old Ps4 for the slim in the meantime for the pro. If you go the pro version make sure you have a fully capable 4k TV with Hdr 10,and research Tvs. The Samsung lineups are the best in terms of lag, blur. Just Google search Tvs for full HDR and make sure it's an actual 4k tv not a Uhd. The companies have made this confusing for the average consumer.

The immersion is so much better than I expected, it is so good it is honestly hard to play any non vr game now. I have astigmatism and fairly poor vision, but was happy how perfect this works with glasses. It sounds silly, but you really do feel like batman after playing arkham on the ps4vr, and I'm a 42 year old guy who thought I'd play a little and let my teenage son play the most... but now... "I'm Batman!"

The PlayStation VR is something you have to experience to believe. If you have tried to see others online play on a PSVR you WILL NOT get the perspective and the kind of depth and immersion that you can experience!!! As for the bundle this is what you would want to get your hands on rather than the core set unless you already have some of the other peripherals on hand if you do the math it's a better deal.

I would recommend that you try it out before buying it. I believe Best Buy had demos every weekend. Check with your local Best Buy. It is the most affordable VR headset out there. The headset is comfortable on your head and for those who wear reading glasses, there is enough room for your glasses. Personally, I can't play it more than 30 min. in one sitting. VR is the future and it's great to give it a shot before investing in such expensive gear.

I am fully on board the VR hype train. I am mostly a console gamer so my PC is not up to the current VR standards. Enter PSVR. Since I already have a PS4 under my TV, this was the most cost effective option to get immersed in a virtual world. I have not tried any of the PC counterparts so I can't compare them to this but I am extremely satisfied with my PSVR so far.

Sony has good things and this is there best yet! if I had to pick from this or $100 worth of gems in clash of clans I pick this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great for VR applications on PS4. Great quality, comfort and extremely responsive that puts you in another world. Not as good as a personal screen, though initially it's like being in your personal theater. As you watch content or play non VR games the screen begin's to drift to the left. You'll only realize it's happening over some time when your head is turned all the way to the left trying to stay center.

I've used other VR systems in the past, and the new playstation VR doesn't disappoint. With its amazing graphics and hugely diverse games this is the system to buy. This system incorporate's all that VR is and the future of VR. Fun part is you can have players game with you adding another dimension of experience. Definitely a great gift for the holidays.

Growing up in the world of arcades, I dreamed of a good VR system as it's the next step in the future of gaming. This is a great first step and I am amazed by how good it is. I would suggest that you also pay the $20 for the Batman VR game. Together, it's a great representation of the system and what can be done. It's a short game, but the VR is awesome!

This is a very immersive experience with minimum hardware investment when compared to the PC VR hardware. Setup is easy but to get the HDMI display to work properly for both the headset and TV is tricky. Since the processor unit's HDMI passthru cannot support HDR, you have to make sure you do not have anything in your signal path from the PU to TV with HDR enabled. I have mine connected to a Yamaha AV receiver into the TV with 4K HDR (4:4:2) enabled and I cannot get the TV to display the PS4 picture at all. Once I disabled 4:4:2 support, everything worked fine. The included VR World is a very good intro disc to VR and the free downloadable VR demo will let you decide what to buy next. Overall, a good buy but it will be a pain once I get my PS4 Pro and start playing 4K HDR games, I will need to disconnect the PSVR and re-enable HDR support every time I want to play PS4 HDR game instead of VR games.

My son has been dying for the Playstation VR Launch Bundle since it first came out, and when we tried a demo at Best Buy, we were completely hooked. Luge, Ocean Descent (that shark!), and Rush of Blood were the first things we tried, and they are all so immersive, it was like a completely new, fresh, unique gaming experience. Great job, Sony!

The experience you feel when you are put directly inside the game world is just something you have to experience yourself to really understand what words lack to describe so if you're a gamer I highly recommend it the games that are out now for the system are a bit short but it's exciting to see the potential that this system has and only makes me wonder how it will change the world of gaming

Playstation VR is amazing. I wasn't sold on it until a demo inside of a Best Buy store this summer. It actually made me buy a ps4 pro and a VR headset. VR really needs to be experienced to understand. For console gamers who don't want to build a PC capable to play VR and then invest in a more expensive headset, PSVR is a great option.

This has everything you need to get started. The PS VR Worlds game is a great set of games to demo off this new hardware. I show all of my friends the VR headset using the Deep Sea Diving and the London Heist. If you don't have a PS Camera and the PS Move sticks, this is a great bundle at a great price.

I was cautious to purchase, but after reading all the great comments and reviews it convinced me to buy and I have no regrets. Gaming is just not the same anymore not in VR. You feel the virtual world around you and it will be difficult to put down. Graphics could be better but PSVR is still new and I can't wait to see whats in store for the future.

The system is everything as advertised...realistic graphics place you right in the video game...all alone.....hopefully in the future there will be some on line games for you and a friend with this system. My son hardly plays this game system, because he loves playing games with his friends online...otherwise the system is great....and overpriced.

Everyone that has used my PlayStation VR headset had loved it. Lots of room for version 2 to improve on down the road, but still really fun to use. The screen door effect looks like if you place your face on the window screen and look outside. If you look at the screen you can see it but if you enjoy the view in the distance it seems to disappear.
