Fun and cheap way to get into VR

I've had the VR since launch and have watched games trickle out of the wood work at a decent rate. I was really hoping Adrift was going to come out for the VR but I guess it is a Oculous exclusive. Regardless, with a whole new year ahead of a fairly new offering from Sony, I'm sure there will be something for everyone in the next few months!

I camped out on launch day for Playstation VR and have not been disappointed in the past few months. New games are coming in slowly, but the level of immersion and excitement of putting on VR is still there. Highly recommended as you will likely never go back to non-VR games if you had a choice!

While not the most technically advanced VR system on the market, it is definitely the best value and has the most complete library of full games so far. If you have a high-end PC and the money, get a VIVE as well, but as a full experience I couldn't recommend anything else over the PSVT right now.

This VR system is easily the best bang for your buck. There are several titles out that already demonstrate multiple activities that players may now perform in the comfort of their living room. It also comes packed with plenty of demos that allow you to try out a bunch of different experiences.

I enjoy the time I've spent playing so far. There is a slight screening effect when it's a dark game but you don't notice after a couple minutes. I also like being able to stream movies and games to the vr headset. It's like watching or playing on a massive projector wall in a pitch black room.

I love it best idea ever for gaming! Although I feel the price is way to high in general I had so much fun with playing. I had to do an exchange because the first one I got had an defective plug and would not stream correctly in the vr. Other than that I have no problems at all!

I bought the playstation VR with a open mind. I have used the oculus rift and other VR hardware. Playstation VR blew my mind on quality, it's up thereally with other VR systems hands down. Only issue is its not wireless, so you got to be careful swinging around the headset.

Love this thing!! I've been gaming since the Atari 2600 days and have had pretty much every console. This is a cool way of experiencing videogames. I don't believe it's a replacement but an additional way to play. The launch bundle is a great value if you can get one.

I was able to try out this VR system before launch, and was blown away. It is such a mind-bending experience, and Sony does a great job of making such a great and powerful product. The design is sleek and is something I will be playing for months and years to come.

Coolest gaming system ever. It is great to be completely submerged into the reality of the game without having to leave the house. Sports, sci-fi, adventure, first person like never before. Happy to have gotten one for myself. And, ALL of my friends are jealous.

    Best VR for the money

Having used the rift, the vive and the samsung VR, the PSVR is simple and straight forward because of the eco system for the PlayStation. You don't need any particular specs just a PS4 not a $1000+ CPU. If money is not an issue the vive and rift are more entertaining. But the games are smooth and crisp.

Lots of fun if you can get past the dizziness

The VR headset has opened a new dimension to gaming on my PS4 and it's been a lot of fun. The visuals are crisp and mostly responsive. It can sometimes take a little effort to get the headset on perfectly and it's a little too easy to smudge the lenses but it's just as easy to clean them off with the provided cloth. Games like Job Simulator are super entertaining with almost zero dizziness as the movement in the game is completely up to you. Games that involve involuntary camera movement like Rush of Blood left me feeling pretty nauseous. However, it doesn't take much to get me dizzy. I also found that in subsequent game-play I was able to play longer with less nausea. One issue that bothers me a little is that the motion controllers sometimes translate to jittery in-game objects (depends on the game like your in-game hands or gun) and the setup can sometime take away from the spontaneity of just sitting down to play. I'm looking forward to seeing what other games come out. Overall, the immersive game-play has been incredible.

If you're an owner of a PlayStation 4, the VR headset is worth the investment. It's extremely comfortable, easy to clean. And so far my experience has been better than expected. It's no Vive, but its certainly worth it due to its performance and convenience.

The hardware is amazing. Looking around a car while driving or individually controller each hand is something that only was only ever available on high end VR systems. Now they just need to come out with software to fully utilize the hardware.

I went into the store and tested out the headset when they had demo sessions for it. 5 minutes in and I was sold! Bought one when it became available and have been extremely happy with my purchase. Even my 60 year old parents love to play it!

The first couple of games I played caused some motion sickness (however, the kids play for hours with no effect). I've read that a little each day gets you used to it. Other than that, complete immersion into a game. I never experienced anything like this before. Simply amazing!!!

This vr headset is a hit with everyone. It is for just about everyone. The best part is watching people play it for the first time. PlayStation did a great job on this. Now let the content make it great. The must have of the holiday season!
