What is "Looks like new" and "Includes all original packaging" mean ? Paid $340 for the " Excellent condition". Received the broken box, missing USB cable, earpieces and the game voucher card for Horizon Call of the Mountain. It's not worth $340. Best Buy sell me a "Fair condition " but charge me " Excellent condition" Price.

    What's the problem?

I see multiple people rating this 1 star due to them purchasing an open box. Their issue was that the redemption card was missing for the included game. What did you really expect?? As I've tried both the VR2 and the Meta 3 and in my honest opinion the PSVR2 is hands down better than the Meta 3! The graphics are comparable but I feel like Sony did a better job. The eye tracking is also definitely a plus. There are 4 things that came down to my decision. (1) I feel immersed like I am really in the scene when I am on the VR2. I don't get that feeling on the Meta. (2) I got headaches while playing the Meta which I did not on the VR2. (3) I bought the VR2 for $350 while it was on sale. I was hesitant buying it for $600 but after testing both I feel like the VR2 is the better of the headsets regardless of price. (4) I am torn on this on but the Meta headset dies extremely fast. I don't like the fact of being connected on the VR2 but I'd rather that than the headset dying so fast. I got rid of the Meta 3 and look forward to spending much more time with my VR2. Horizon is a fabulous game and it's definitely a bonus it comes with the VR2. I was skeptical of the game prior to purchasing because I am not used into this type of game but I got sucked right in and can't stop playing it.

The PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2) is a major upgrade over its predecessor, offering a significantly improved virtual reality experience for PlayStation 5 users. The Sense controllers offer advanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, providing a more immersive experience. Additionally, the PS VR2 supports eye-tracking for more responsive gameplay. While the game library is still growing, the device offers impressive graphics and an immersive experience that showcases the potential of VR gaming on the PlayStation platform. However, it does require a PlayStation 5 console and a dedicated space for optimal use. Overall, it's a solid choice for VR enthusiasts seeking an upgrade.

“After using the PlayStation VR2, I was blown away by how immersive the experience was. The visuals are crystal clear, and the haptic feedback in the Sense controllers adds a whole new dimension to gaming. Playing Horizon Call of the Mountain felt like stepping into another world—I could see every detail and interact with the environment so naturally. The setup was super simple, and it’s incredibly comfortable to wear for long sessions. It’s truly next-level gaming, and I can’t wait to explore more titles!”

The Sony PS VR2 is a huge leap forward in virtual reality. The visuals are stunning with its crisp OLED display, vibrant colors, and smooth refresh rate, making every detail pop. The headset feels comfortable and lightweight, even during longer gaming sessions, and the adjustable fit is perfect. The new Sense controllers are incredibly responsive, with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that make gameplay feel more immersive than ever. Tracking is precise, setup is easy, and the overall experience feels next-gen in every way. Sony has truly set a new standard for console VR.

The eye tracking and adaptive triggers make a real difference in gameplay. While the cable can be a minor inconvenience, the overall experience is top-notch. BETTER HARDWARE/WEAKER SOFTWARE

Quite the advancement over the previous model for the PS4. More comfortable, better looking, and audio options built into it. The biggest issue is the limited software, which is a lot fewer or major type of games compared to its predecessor, that had a wider library. However, with PlayStation taking cues from Meta on how to design a better controller, but mixed with PlayStation's haptic technology makes it more comfortable and it's more intuitive ease of use without the necessity of the PlayStation Camera makes it a lot easier to set up. Again, just wish the software options (including physical software) is severely limited.

Eye tracking, OLED screens, inside out tracking, haptics, high resolution. It's very impressive what Sony has managed to pack into a $550 headset. I've had no bad experiences so far, and I've been absolutely blown away by the quality of the graphics and the accuracy of the motion tracking. I've owned every major VR headset since the Oculus SDK2 and I can say the only two VR headsets you will ever need are the meta Quest 2 and PSVR2. They serve entirely different purposes but if you are into VR for immersion and fun, this is the product to buy.

High quality all around, but hard-wired

If you have games, or have a list of games that you're interested in trying in VR, this headset is one of the best in raw specs. Big FoV, high res, lightweight, comfortable (non-absorbent) padding, eye tracking, and excellent controllers. It is a wired headset, but if you can accommodate that (or at least be mindful of it), this device will yield high quality VR experiences when paired with the right titles. Call of the Mountain is a prime example and an excellent showcase of its capabilities. Navigating menus with only your eyes and no controllers was a bizarre yet fascinating experience, and that's just the beginning. Overall, this headset is excellent, but it will only be as good as the software it's paired with, so study up on what's recommended or popular to decide if this is for you.

Great VR for the PlayStation. Eye tracking is pretty spot on and the hand controls are easy to get used to as well. Headset fits nice and snug, but can get a tad uncomfortable after extended periods of use. You will have face markings. The original PSVR made me nauseous using it, However I did not experience any nausea with this one. It all feels solid, of excellent quality, and well made. My only real gripe would be the cord, makes things a bit awkward at times, really wish they would have made it wireless. The Horizon VR game it came with is really fun too! Really enjoyed pulling arrows out of the quiver and firing them. Climbing is fun as well and the world is beautiful. Honestly enjoy sitting in places enjoying the sounds and scenery, so it’s good for that too. Overall it’s fantastic and well worth the money.

This product is awesome…but one major note is being able to handle the idea of moving when you’re stationary. With the headset on if you do not do well with motion, you will not do well with the VR. You are completely immersed into the world of the game that you’re playing and while sitting down and then running forward…the motion is on another level. It took me a few days to get used to. Once I got used to it, I love the gaming experience, but I can still get dizzy every now and again due to my mind thinking I’m actually running, but my body is stationary. Also, It would be nice if the headset was wireless and didn’t require a direct connection to the console, but the price would be much higher than it already is. If you’re okay with both of those you’ll love the PS5 VR. The graphics are awesome!

I know it's primarily the responsibility of the developer of the software, not the hardware, to make movement smooth. And for games that don't involve movement at all, PSVR 2 is a compelling experience for PS5 users looking for an immersive experience that can't be had on a traditional flat screen. However, due to a lack of sedintary games, i personally had a nauseating experience. My game of choice on the platform was Horizon: Call of the Mountain and the walking required, although only occasional, jad me wanting to tear the headset off and rush to the bathroom nearly every time. If you can find a game where movement is less disorienting or the perspective is more separated, then PSVR 2's haptic feedback, eye-tracking, and high resolution OLED screens make for the best experience you can ask for. IF you can find and enjoy those games.

It took me some time to decide on which VR system to choose from. I ultimately decided on the PSVR2 mainly for the power of the PS5. As more and more games come out I think it will play and look better and have an overall better experience than other VRs. As for the PSVR2 itself it is comfortable, fun, and very immersive. I recommend some kind of grips to add to the hand controls if you get sweaty palms like I do. The headset being corded doesn't bother me too much. Every now and then I need to adjust it but I'm fine with that, Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and can't wait for more games.
